The shop and garden centre was fantastic but disappointed in the restaurant we ordered egg n cress on brown and a chip butty tea and coke. Had our drinks 20mins later still waiting for food asked where it was and it wad bought to us in a few minutes its a goid job we asked as we seem to have been forgotten. I wish I could say worth the wait but the chips were dry and taste less���

Love this shop! I always visit this shop when i go to Wales, and a lot of my friends from Norway always visit this shop Aswell.

Always visit when in Welshpool have some lovely gifts made a special visit for Christmas food festival never disappointed we came early and glad we did as the queues were very long to get in on leaving .

Although not much imagination has gone into this years Xmas display, I still love the wide variety of choice they have. And it's perfect that it's all colour co ordinated too!! Must keep up with the better displays and relevant themes!! ���

The location is fabulous and the shopping area great! We stopped for lunch and had beef and mushroom pie, meat lovely and tender but not a lot of flavour. It wasn't really a pie, more of a casserole with a puff pastry lid. Pastry undercooked and a little soggy! Vegetables good! Shame as we had looked forward to our meal, not the best value for money!

I was also at Coed-y-Diana's yesterday with my daughter and we had fish ,chips and peas which we both said was tasteless no matter how much ketchup we used . My daughter ate all of hers because she was starving but I only managed the fish ( didn't eat the batter ) and half the chips and some peas -- wouldn't order fish and chips again !!!!

Was in the restaurant yesterday 17th Feb and ordered the slightly spiced chicken curry £7.99, I was very disappointed with it the sauce was very runny like water the chicken was dry and looked like slop on the plate but I ate it as starving and couldn't be bothered taking it back

Went to the cafe there, went up to a lady who works there and said 'excuse me' and was responded with 'what now!' I only wanted to ask her what time the children's play area was open til. So, so rude I couldn't believe it! Still shocked! The manager then came over and basically told me I was lying lol! He then too became very aggressive and started shouting at me in the restaurant! Nice! So professional! The staff need a lesson or two on customer relations. If you want to be spoken to like a piece of absolute rubbish then this is the place to go! Them to make things worse when I was leaving she watched me struggle with my pushchair through the doors! I said 'thanks for your help' and she just ignored me! I had come out to take my children for a treat and do my Christmas shopping and ended up leaving early as I would not spend any of my money there after the way I was spoken to. Staff rude and aggressive. I will be putting in a formal complaint. It was meant to be a nice evening out with my children I've never been spoken to in such an awful way!

We went to the store yesterday to purchase our daughters 1st fish tank equipment & stopped by the restaurant for a light bite to eat. Could not believe that for sandwiches for my partner, toddler n myself came to over £20 with drinks! The food was vile to say the least, the young staff seamed overwhelmed with Christmas shoppers to pay attention as they made 2 errors on our simple order. Will never be wasting money eating at coed y dinas ever again n considering this was only yesterday I’ve lost count how many people we have told about our horrendous experience & they have not been surprised by it 🤭

On our holidays and wanted to visit but they don't allow dogs inside.

My friends and I had just been to Powis Castle for the afternoon and decided to call in for our tea we where showm to our table after about 5 mins our order was taken we had starters and main course our starter came a bit slow but acceptable we all enjoyed them we waited and waited and waited after about 15mins a young lady took our plates and we thought our main meal would soon arrive but how wrong we where we waited again I managed to get the attention of a waitress after seeing other diners arrive and have starters and main course while we still waited she said she would see where it was then came back and said it was on its way by this time it was about 30 mins since we finished our starters so I approached the manager who said the kitchen had just been informed I said we would rather just pay for what we had had he did say sorry and took my money but I don’t feel this was enough as the staff where falling over each other there was so many he just seemed like he wanted to get rid of me as quick as possible and hadn’t got time to here my view

Will we eat here again No
