After last year and not having any hay for the first time in 23 years, because of the weather, we got the hay IN. Working in 32c temps thank you so much to our friends Ian Baker & Mark Montinaro for helping Keith. I drove the vehicle. 😊

We stayed in the cottage. Val is a very helpful host but allows you as much privacy as you want. The cottage is so peaceful and well equipped. The peacocks walking around were amazing. The countryside in that area is beautiful.

We stayed at Coedllys country house for four days in August 2016, for a bed and breakfast course. The course was very informative and thought provoking. It was exactly what er needed and more!



From pictures and reviews we already thought it looked great, but as soon as we arrived we realised what a special place it really is! Nestled in a beautiful green valley, surrounded by rolling hills and lush woodland, it is the definition of peaceful retreat. All the sanctuary animals are so gentle and cared for with so much love, they give it right back to everyone. Emma, Alfie, Calvin, the Charlies, Max, Maisie, Patch, Pickle, Jason, Gordon Rams and all the others were delightful. It was wonderful to be able to interact with them.



Keith and Val were such considerate, warm and welcoming hosts. They really are the soul of the place!



Val's breakfasts were delicious, the best poached eggs we ever had, delicate and melt in the mouth. My husband who has a penchant for always leaving something behind wiped his plate clean every single morning. And Keith's dinners were innovative and finger lickin' scrumptious!



The rooms are large and very comfortable, the hospitality tray was really a hospitality suite, with everything one could wish for, for a pre bed snack or cuppa in it. We had the most delicious fresh baked chocolate chip cookies every day! Again, the best i have ever experienced. We really appreciated the range of complimentary toiletries in the bathroom, the basket contained anything you could need and several items that we forgot. The bed was like sinking into a firm cloud that hugged you to sleep and the pillows were so good, that we asked where we could buy our own.



There is a circular woodland walk with a great view of the house, and its also close to some wonderful little towns like Laugharne and Tenby.



We missed it before we left and we cannot wait to go back!

We had the pleasure of staying in the cottage, wonderful relaxing homely stay and it broke my heart to leave, so looking forward to returning again soon , thank you Val and Keith for the wonderful holiday xx
