Coffee#1

Decent coffe in a relaxed atmosphere just off a major shopping street.

Great place for a coffee and a catch up. Staff are really friendly.

The coffee is alright, not excellent, fairly average from a coffee snob point of view. However the reason I give only 2 stars is the senior lady behind the till who seem to be annoyed with that fact that she's working here so it is expressed on the customers, for example, pointing out at a sign that says that the card machine is broken and pulls a facial expression that indicates she's annoyed with you that you didn't see it in the first place and after you've made an effort to get cash the lady mumbles that she shouldn't be here. I've worked in a similar place when I was a student and this is not acceptable in this industry. Customers should not see this sort of attitude. Because of this, I suggest to go to The Fig Tree coffee shop instead-excellent coffee and always a lovely staff.

If you like coffee then this is a good place to go. Chain is a Welsh brand. Try the Welsh cakes or maybe the large toasted tea cakes. Large drinks menu available. This particular shop has a small seating area downstairs but has more seating upstairs via stairs. Staff very helpful.
