Beautiful day here at Colby, just picked a few spring flowers from our garden ( tulips, bluebells, euphorbia and white heather) to welcome our cottage guests. ☀️
Just back from dinner in Narberth, arrived in the garden to hear the surf on the beach in Amroth. So - we are sitting in the garden, soaking up the sounds and supping a glass of red in the evening - what's not to love.
What a beautiful weekend - the sunshine, blue skies, a local sporting event, and spring has shaken off the snow to start to reveal some colour. Easter this week and we will be in full swing again.
We’re having new gravel paths in our magnolia garden and what a beautiful day it is today. Thank you my lovely husband for working so hard. Xx
What a beautiful house and wonderful gardens. Carolyn and Tony are so lovely and looked after me and helped me celebrate my 79th birthday. Duke and Bisto are very loving dogs and are such good company. Looking forward to returning and celebrating my big birthday next year.
Tony and Carolyn were perfect hosts. Their beautiful house in idyllic surroundings, was wonderful for a weekend break. They made us feel soo welcome.
We'd highly recommend a visit especially for people wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Loved the fact that Amroth beach is short walk from the house, through the National Trust part of estate.
Very little light pollution in the area so Star Gazing is amazing!
Tony likes to chat about boats and sailing. Always a win for me!

Idyllic, from gravel drive arrival to the most incredible walks in the grounds. I'd struggle to find anywhere else that has all this: luxuriant, huge rooms in a grand house, amazing views, the loveliest people, a million birds singing.
My 10 and 14 year old kids disappeared into the surrounding gardens and coutryside, played pooh-sticks from the bridges over the perfect stream whilst my girlfriend and I took high tea in front of a roaring fire. You'd feel stupid to set your sights this high, but ... here it is. Halcyon, even in February.
