Fantastic little local cinema, prices are fair considering it is a good 30 - 40 minute drive to other bigger cinemas that charge the same price and it always has the latest films. It is family run and needs local support, so we always try and go here before anywhere else.
Cool cinema but I didn't like the staff. Don't take your own popcorn, they will confiscate it and be rude to you about it. I understand if they need to make it a policy to keep the cinema profitable, but there's no excuse to be rude about it.
This cinema takes me back to my childhood. I love it. It's very family friendly and clean. This cinema deserves the support of everyone in the area.

The screen is epic, and the setting is fantastic. It's gone some great features, and it has all the making of the perfect mix between vintage cinema, and modern (Sony 4K modern) cinema.
However, there is never any kind of offer on, no kind of loyalty scheme and very little in the way of decent communication.
I'd much prefer to give this place some money than Odeon or VUE, plus it's easier than driving 30 minutes.
But this place needs a kick in the way it treats and engages with customers.
When waiting to see Gone Girl a few years ago, we were made to wait outside in the rain. Is that a way to get people to come back? Nope.
So tell people about the amazing screen, keep the feel of the place, but be a bit nicer and interact with the locals more. Get people WANTING to come back, not having to.
