Your face look like great but your Companies House giving opportunity do fake and scam the people in taken registration from your Companies House who are doing investment company. Many people get lost who are invested in. Big problem is all financial investment company who are doing business in taken registration from your is offering and encouraging great opportunity such as 100%, 200% profits etc, when the people deposited, seeing they are getting profits but when going to withdraw, nothing get, making pending and pending day by day and said to do invest more. we find from scam identification website that many website in taken registration from Companies House doing investment business is fake. Why do your give registration to them without identify and verification?

As accountants, we deal with HMRC and Companies House a lot. We don't seem to have many issues with Companies House, the majority of our contact is forming new companies and filing annual returns and abbreviated accounts.

HMRC, however, can be challenging!

User

A company that helps people for businesses and reliable especially helps those who are victims of fraud and scammers.

Hi Companies House. Can someone tell me how to stop my information from being shared/sold to third parties? I registered my company with CH, and received my confirmation, last week (CH being the only place where I have shared my company details so far); today I received mail from Portman Asset Finance, offering me business finance. I don’t want to be pestered this way. Thanks.

User

Wow. Possibly the most condescending and unpleasant response to a very basic telephone enquiry I've ever had. A simple 'I'm afraid we can't help you yet' would have been fine, and was partly what I was expecring. I will go out of my way to avoid phone contact in future - perhaps they're trained to ensure that! Top marks if it was to put people off! I was (and always try to be) super nice, a philosophy I somewhat regret on this occasion.

User

When you register your company be aware that your data is sold and you will get SPAM MAIL. This is a service Companies House offers - VERY POOR!

User

Useless, bloated and unnecessary government agency that only serves itself. Businesses would be far better off without it

User

They just put me into liquidation without me knowing, my accountant sent in the confirmation documents, but the say they didn't receive it, so have closed me down and stoped me living, i did everything correctly, but m account with all my wages in has been frozen, thanks so much for destroying my liveleyhood, happy christmas.

User

Terrible service. Wait days for a response and get the most unprofessional emails back. If I responded to customer emails in a similar fashion I would reprimanded.

User

Interesting that within a week of GDPR going active that Compainies house released my info to commercial third party without my consent and now I have to register with that third party to be able to contact them to remove my info.

User

I find it ironic that Companies House is now advising about identity theft, given that you publish all the information necessary for such theft - INCLUDING SIGNATURES!

I totally appreciate and support the need for transparency, freedom of information and accountability to the public. However I can see no logical or valid reason for publishing an actual signature on your website especially when this is on a form which relates to a Debenture which has now been satisfied in full.

Whilst I can understand that the public record for a limited company should still include details of a satisfied Debenture, I have NEVER understood why you this should include an actual signature - even moreso when those details are purely historical.

The ICO is very sympathetic, but claims to have no power to intervene as Companies Hose have dispensations which are so vague that publication of a signature is not actually unlawful. However it IS entirely illogical and unnecessary and we have asked Companies House repeatedly to clarify what possible purpose is being served by publishing an actual signature - other than to facilitate Identity Theft. The only response we have ever had from Companies House is, in effect, we publish a signature because we CAN, but we have yet to be given a reason to justify WHY Companies House is facilitating Identity Theft by creating such an obvious and unnecessary security risk for Company Directors.

User

Horrendous customer service. Spoke to a lady who just didn't reply to my questions or offer me any solution. She just told me to speak to HMRC. Even though I told her my concerns with my newly formed LTD company she could not help me other then tell me that my newly formed company didn't require any declarations until 2016 but as I told her I'm registered as a sole trader at the moment so how do I connect the two. Unhelpful & unsympathetic to my confusion in what I need to do next.
