Charlie was rescued by the Mumbles RNLI crew last year, after he swam out to sea and became stranded on a rock cut off by the tide.
Charlie will be joining us at the Vets4Pets and RNLI family fun on Aberavon Beach next Sunday to kick off our 3km welly walk. Don't miss out and make sure to bring your dog down to join in the fun http://bit.ly/WellyWalkies #WellyWalkies

The RNLI are a fantastic organisation, whose volunteers work selflessly and tirelessly to keep people and their pets safe around the UK coast.
So why not show your support for their lifesaving work, by joining us and the RNLI at our family fun day on Aberavon Beach on the 29th April, where you can meet the volunteers, make a donation to the charity and enjoy the fresh sea air #WellyWalkies

As the weather starts to brighten and the warm summer days get closer, it's time to get out and about on the beautiful Welsh beaches with your dogs.
And we have the perfect beach day out for Welsh pooches, with our family fun day on Aberavon Beach! Come and meet our Vets4Pets team to get advice on how to keep your dogs happy and healthy whilst at the beach this summer #WellyWalkies

User

Do you like walking you dog on the beach? Then join us and the RNLI at our FREE Welly Walk with the RNLI at Aberavon Beach, Sunday 29th April http://bit.ly/WellyWalkies
It's your last chance to walk on that beach as it's not accesible for dogs during the summer season #WellyWalkies

User

Sadly more than 200 walkers have died since 2011 around the Welsh coast, many when walking their dog. That's why we've joined forces with the RNLI to promote water safety, and hopefully reduce the number of dogs and owners getting into difficulty at the coast.
So, why not come down to Aberavon Beach on Sunday 29th April for some free advice on staying safe around the coast from the Vets4Pets and RNLI teams, at our fun packed dog welly walk #WellyWalkies

the best vet ever

User

Would not trust my dog with anyone else the staff are lovely no trouble getting appoinments and very good prices =) Liv is a brilliant vet very caring listens to you as an owner and is there whenever you need her can not thank her enough for her help ...... plus my malamute loves her !

User

Would like to thank the team at companion care bridgend today for doing so well with my rabbits neutering. The gentleman (not sure of his name but spoke in a foreign accent) I spoke and handed my rabbit to was so nice and I had been panicking all night. Obviously nervous I rung up at half 12 to see if Flapjacks was okay and the receptionist said he was in recovery and will be ready to go home at 3. She was also so polite and understanding. Flapjacks is now relaxing in the house eating and drinking like normal as if nothing has happened today! Brilliant service and trust from the team - Thank you!.

User

We'd like to thank the kind staff here for keeping our lost parrot safe after it had escaped and had been attacked. The care he was given was 100% professional. Would recommend these guys. William has settled back in and is recovering nicely. Thank you guys x

User

We recently had to have our beautiful german shepherd Max put to sleep here after 13 1/2 years. Julia is just the most compassionate and caring vet and we dont know what we would have done without her being there for us then and for the last number of years. We think of Julia as part of our family and she is still caring for Murphy our 12 year old shepherd. She really is amazing and so is Deborah on reception, so helpful and so understanding! Thank you all! Xx

User

We can't thank the wonderful staff enough. Sadly we had to put our 20 year old cat to sleep today which was a heartwrenching time but the staff treated us and Mouse with respect and compassion. Thank you so much

User

They are really helpful and explain everything that's happening. Makes you think your fur babies are in excellent hands.

User

They are Always nice and polite. We had to have our fur baby Pip put to sleep for health reasons and they were very understanding and very supportive. They sent us a sympathy card a few days later which we thought was very nice of them. It's the little things like that that make them stand out from other vets. I will always go to them and highly recommend them to others.

User

The vet and the receptionist were so caring and understanding, we had a tough decicion to make and the support of the staff was wonderful. Very professional and would highly recommend this practice. Thank you

User

Liv and the team are fabulous - caring and supporting and I would recommend them over and over to anyone who is looking for a practice they can trust to look after their beloved pets.

User

It is clear when visiting Liv's practice that she is a highly respected vet, who's record for exceptional veterinary knowledge, judgement and care is reflected in all of her staff. She has constantly shown genuine compassion for us and our pets, and has even been a shoulder to cry on on the most emotional occasions. It is touching how much cares, and understands that our animals mean the world to us. She has never become frustrated or patronising, and is refreshingly frank in her professional opinion and honest about treatment and costs; our trust in her has always been well placed. She has helped us even when there seemed to be no hope. It is obvious that Liv is not solely motivated by money, as she has gone above and beyond with long term welfare and care advice, trying to ensure we don't return with the same issues. Liv always knows what products are on the market and has helped us to find the best foods for each of our dogs needs. It can often be stressful and upsetting for animals and their owners to visit the vet, but we can honestly say that we know we are in safe hands with Liv and her excellent staff. In my eyes she is some kind of superhero!

User

I had to take my 2y old lurcher in for booster vacs tonight. She is hyper anxious at vets and my anxiety at her potential flight or bite response does not help. Saw rowena tonight who I'm told is a new vet and she was awesome. Calm, measured, understanding and as soon as she saw flos anxiety peaking she suggested I let her and the nurse do her injection. She walked her into another area changing her mindset and gave inj all within a min. She made what is usually a nightmare appointment fantastic. So understanding and professional while also being so personable. Thank you rowena nicci & flo

User

Have had so many positive experiences dealing with both Liv and Julia. Today I needed to take our 4month old puppy for a check due to sickness. Julia was wonderful, it was the afternoon of Christmas Eve, she took her time and was in no hurry to usher us out of the door. She was reassuring and understanding as was the nurse on duty too. Would never want to take my pets anywhere else. Thank you

User

Everyone in this vets practice is so dedicated and caring... We sadly lost our lovely cat after nearly a month of hard work and dedication from all the team. I cannot recommend them enough. Their love, caring and compassion is second to none x

User

Could not want a better team of receptionists, nurses and vets. The care they all have given to my two dogs, Cassie and Crazy Maisie has been second to none.Thank you all.

User

Big thank you to Liv the vet that took such good care of Spec my dog and was so kind and thoughtful, also thanks to all the staff there for being so helpful.

User

A huge thank you to Liv and all the vetinary and reception staff. Liv operated on our golden Labrador "Honey" after we noticed a angry looking red lump in her mouth. The tumour was found to be cancer and Liv arranged for Honey to see a specialist Vetinary surgeon for further diagnosis / surgery.

Thankfully Honey is now making a steady recovery after having more soft tissue and a small part of bone removed.

User

My poor cat is so ill, so I rang to bring him in as I've been registered with you for years with more than one pet and was refused treatment because I couldn't pay straight away !! I hope he makes it through the night so I can take him somewhere tomorrow that will bill me. I will never bring any of my animals to you again. All about the money !!!
