Con Amici Italian Bar And Kitchen Description
The name Con Amici comes from the Italian family and friends dining ethos which translates to eating with friends where families and close friends come together to have a meal around a table whether it is at home or in a restaurant, making it a big event. This is what we want our customers to experience when they visit our restaurant.
We are a family owned modern Italian restaurant and bar run by the proprietor Joe Lynch and his son Ryan Lynch.
Con Amici is situated in the medieval town of Denbigh, in the heart of North Wales just six miles from the A55 and is surrounded by an area of outstanding natural beauty. Denbigh has plenty to offer, including visitor attractions such as the historic feature Denbigh castle and the nearby St Asaph Cathedral.

first time here yesterday with three young children and the grandparents. the place was lovely very relaxing didn't feel rushed . staff were very friendly and we all had a gorgeous meal . my mum had the steak and it was the best steak she's ever had . I had the lamb and it was so tasty and plenty of it . the kids had spag bol and my youngest made her own pizza which was great fun..definatley will be going again ..
We’ve just come from a lovely evening at Con Amici with a group of 8 with 3 children.. I must commend the staff what pleasant, attentive and accommodating staff.. was my daughters 8th birthday and they made such a fuss of her, she was humbled.. The food was beautiful, with such variety and the place was spotlessly clean, and the staff couldn’t do enough regardless of their age.. well done and we’ll definitely be back thank you xx
We had another great meal tonight celebrating our daughters 3rd Birthday. The staff are always friendly, especially the 2 front of house gentlemen. Food is great, best steak I’ve ever had! Always very welcoming and accommodating with young children, which is quite rare - especially with such high quality food. Thank you for another lovely dining experience
We came for food on our last night of our holidays. We also came last year. What an absolutely amazing meal. I asked the waiter his advice on which pizza to order. The one he recommended was the best pizza I've ever had. My partner had the steak he said also that his was fantastic. Thank you for another fantastic meal x
We ate the last night , we ordered rib eye steak , rump lamb , and the kids got to make there own pizza and take it to the chef , we have eaten there a few times now and food and staff have always been amazing , highly recommended .
Visited last night for the first time for a birthday dinner with family.Excellent customer service from walking though the door til the moment we left. All our meals were delicious and they kindly packed our pizza that we could not finish to take home. Hey I had it for lunch today and was still just as yummy. Well done and have recommended already today to friends.

Very friendly very light and spacious very modern looking. We spoke to a couple sat next to us who told us they were regulars and we asked what they would recommend and they came back with everything is great. They were right as well I had the meatballs with pasta and my wife had the chicken in a cream sauce with pasta. Starters were good and so were the deserts. I had the cheese board and it came with crackers, ciabatta bread and a very nice Cicilian wine. Staff were very friendly so it's 10 out of 10 for us.
This is a fabulous family run Italian business. The restaurant sources fresh products on a dailly basis, the food is exceptional. The Service is outstanding, the team are really friendly and genuinely take an interest with thier customers. And don't by-pass the the delicous Cocktail menu! I would highly recommend the restaurant which caters for all age groups, a must visit!
Shame we had two yobby gobby women sat opposite us F-Ing off every other word stinking of fags. Other than that, Warm and friendly staff, shame they didn’t speak Italian as I find that adds to the feel of the eating experience. Too many onions in my meal. We all enjoyed our food and the visit to this restaurant and would recommend it to others.
Really like coming here, the staff are all so friendly, the food is out of this world, reasonable prices, and a very homely atmosphere, will be going back soon

Delicious, great customer service , very helpful and friendly , took my son with us aged 7 and he loved it too great choice of food and drink . Not had a meal so remembrable like that in a long time , very clean place too ... thank you to all staff as they all went out of their way to welcome us and make sure we was happy definitely coming back I've told everyone I spoke to how lovely it was too
Can honestly say the whole evening was 5 star what a credit the staff are to the restaurant and the food was amazing lovely seating area relaxed and very welcoming cannot recommend enough 🤗

Very accommodating for children too- my boy enjoys 'make your own pizza' and loves to take it into the kitchen for the chef!
Definately recommended.
Service was hit and miss. Meal was replaced after returning it as lamb was tough and full of gristle. Replacement meal arrived half an hour later so had to eat it after everybody else had finished. The steak was fab though. Oh and I was given a free drink.
Over all the meal wasn’t the best , the service wasn’t up to standard as I thought it would be nice to come for a meal and as we were sat at our table one of the staff members were using disgusting language , it made us feel uncomfortable, I don’t recommend it to any families with small children , disappointed.
