Easter is coming, enjoy the eggs and the break. But if an extra hard bit of chocolate causes a disaster, for practice plan and denplan patients, over the Easter weekend , phone the practice for details of Oncall arrangements. For NHS patients the arrangements are as follows

A reason to smile .... our new dentist Petar Dimitrov will be starting in April 24th and , for a limited time, he will be taking on new private, practice plan and denplan patients. Please phone or call in for further details.

The practice is now a centre for recycling oral health goods eg tooth brushes , toothpaste tubes , electric brush heads etc. You don't have to be a patient to drop things off, just bring those empty tubes, old brushes in and we will send them to be recycled. All money raised will be donated to Dentaid which provides dental treatment ,equipment and training to those in need in this country and abroad .

It has been 20 years since we last welcomed a permanent dentist to the practice, Mr David Knott. He has proved to be a popular member of the team, but will shortly be reducing the days he works.
In order to accomodate this and increasing numbers of Practice Plan,Denplan and private patients we are delighted to be able to introduce a colleague , who has been known to us for a long time, who will be starting on April 24th.
Petar Dimitrov qualified in 2005 and has many years exp...erience in both private and NHS dentistry.
He enjoys all aspects of dentistry but his main interests are prevention and minimally invasive dentistry.
He has keen interest in postgraduate education and most recently has gained postgraduate certificates in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, six month smiles and quick ,straight teeth.
However , just as important , he has a great manner with people and a good sense of humour.

Today we donned Christmas jumpers in aid of Mold food bank.

Staff of Connahs Quay dental practice , past and present, joined with friends and family of our lovely nurse Debbie and her partner Andy to celebrate their marriage on Saturday. On behalf of all of us we wish the new Mr and Mrs Lee the happiest of married life.

All of our practice plan patients will have recieved a letter about the emergency insurance.
To clarify you are still registered and still have emergency cover , but if you need emergency treatment you need to pre authorise the claim by phoning the helpline first. Everything else remains the same.
Hope that clears any confusion.

Today the practice celebrated a big anniversary. Andrew and Andria Walton have owned and run Connahs Quay Dental Practice for 25 years.
The staff and other dentists presented them with cards and presents to commemorate the day and even Tanzi the dog joined in!
Later on the celebrations will continue with a practice day out.

Just a warning, Barclays bank in Shotton was robbed this morning , there may be delays getting past , so leave a little extra time for your journey.

Apologies for the banging and crashing if you are visiting the practice. We are having some refurbishment in the surgeries and a new decontamination unit fitted downstairs.
Also united utilities have started works just opposite the practice , with traffic lights guys, so leave a little extra time for traffic etc.
