Blue trade waste recycling bags keep going missing from under the cafe counter. Please DO NOT use these for any other purpose than Cafe recycling. These are not free, they have to be purchased from the council at cost to Connect.

It’s been a while since we did a mosaic update.....almost completed mosaic number 2, had hoped to finish today but too many interruptions and low glue mean I have to wait till next week to finish.

And from this......to this.......

We’ve been working hard to sort out the planters today. Thanks to all who have helped. We now have a lovely herb garden started as well as lots of edible or bee friendly plants.

Very exciting day at Connect today. We have inherited some fantastic planter boxes from Pontypridd Your Bid. Super looking forward to tending these and adding to what is already there.

Cafe back open today 12-3pm. Our staff have worked extra hard and have finished the deep clean a day early. Thank you all for your hard work.

I was in LIDL just after 9am this morning and was able to purchase one of their wonky boxes when I got to the till. £1.50 for all this.........

Ground works have begun today in front of cafe entrance. Please be warned that there is limited access around the lorry and users should enter building via church entrance. We apologise for the disruption that this causes any of our customers. The workmen are working hard to complete this as quickly as possible and the end result will be greatly appreciated by all.

Update-These chairs have now found new home. 🙂 10 green plastic chairs available. Donations please to church funds.

Hello lovely people. We've recently found out about a scheme called 'Give Back With Grundig' run in partnership with Currys where charities that deal with food (like us at Connect) can be nominated for large kitchen appliances. Do any of our lovely supporters out there work for Currys or have family that work for Currys? Nominations can only come from staff members and we would dearly love to nominated PLEASE!!!!!!!

One of our volunteers has been working hard on our new menu design. A few price changes and some exciting new additions coming to the menu. Watch this space...........

It’s tasty Tuesday!!! We are now open later on a Tuesday. Bring your little munchkins for an after school snack. Last orders 4.15 closing 4.30pm. Children’s club starts at 5pm.
