We just got our first tarantula and where served by Luke, great shop and great service, we where made to feel very welcome and not our first exotic pet buh first tarantula and we where given loads of useful info, will 100% becoming back, thank u

Walked in to have a look around as I've passed it many times and was glad I did spoke to a young gentleman who was very informative and ended up having a laugh and a joke oh and ended buying a new viv and other bits��

Visited the shop today with my little boy for his first snake (hes obsessed!) All the staff were really friendly, we were served by keanan, gave us loads of advice and information, he was genuinally so enthusiastic about the animals, we picked up everything we needed, a corn snake and full set up. We went away really confident and encouraged to pop back or get in touch whenever we need to for advice or help. Overall a really great experience, cant thank them enough. My son has named him Ekans, after a pokemon snake lol and hes already settled in well and exploring his viv x

Outstanding experience. Not being from the area I decided to pop in and see what it was like. Staff were nothing but helpful and very eager to answer any questions. And with a good variety of new pets to take home it's easy to spend a fair few hundred pounds in a blink of a eye. Looking forward to my next pop in and collect my new python real soon.

Outstanding customer service. I purchased a few marine fish and inverts yesterday that are all in excellent healthy condition. Will definitely be using contact pets as my place to go.

Our daughter saved up for a tortoise. She visited the shop several times before hand. Each time all of the staff were lovely, kind and helpful. She finally bought Charlotte today. Again super service. Thank you

Only popped in for a new ornament for my tropical tank, staff are very friendly showing me the tropical puffers and even fed them to show me what there like! At the check out chatting to Dave and ended up getting the 9ft snake out Horacio out and let me hold the monster! Highly recommend place for all your needs great staff and great broad range of products.

Love it here, always spend well over an hour looking at the animals. Also bought a few things too. Really helpful staff, all animals cared for well. Bit of a drive away but always look forward to our road trips.

Just bought my first corn snake today and i never thought it would be so easy!! Was greeted by a wonderful young girl who knew everything there was. (I’m so sorry I didn’t get your name!) I even called back to make sure I was doing everything right and she assured me everything will be fine. 100% positive experience with you guys, can’t wait to come back �

The staff here are excellent, all really knowledgeable on all their livestock. I really recommend them for both advice and pet purchase. We have had a bearded dragon who is great! Along with freshwater and now setting up with marine fish. I also wish to point out their honesty. We could easily spend a fortune on fish that need specific requirements or settled tanks etc. they really put honesty before sales. Great, friendly and passionate service, what more could you ask for...

I love this place but not as much as my 14 year old son , this is his most favourite place in the world to go , my son has high functioning autism and I just want to say the staff are fantastic , they always take the time to chat with him , my son is obsessed with reptiles and animals , the staff are always so Helpful I wouldn’t get my sons reptiles from anywhere else , thanks guys you make my son very happy xx

Excellent, knowledgeable staff. Nothing is too much trouble or takes too much time. They have been fantastic with advice when purchasing my first reptile - a baby Royal python. Polly has only been home an hour and after popping her in the viv in her travel box she's now made herself very much at home wrapped around a branch. Thank you guys.

You always get a great welcome at Contact Pets and as normal there was a good selection of fish and corals to tempt the cash out of my wallet. Today, temptation came in the form of a Lobo and a small frag of acan. The Austrailian Scoly was very nice but the wallet went into panic mode and stayed put.



Contact Pets also have 20% off Loyalty Card (Join when you visit). In addition you earn credits for spending. Today I got a £5 voucher for my next shop = Happy Days.



For those braver than me, you can also visit the amphibians, reptile and spider section. I know my limits and stayed within the fish and coral section.



Contact Pets is a great shop to visit and there is plenty to look at and feel scared of.

Brilliant, can’t rate this place high enough. Always loads of staff who know what they’re talking about, give really great advice & can’t do enough for you. Owner is always friendly and will always be on hand to offer help. Love it in here!

Brilliant customer service! Gave us excellent information about our new bearded dragon. Set up the vivarium for us, got everything we needed and assured us that they were available every day if need be, via phone or Facebook. Really impressed! Lovely, friendly and helpful staff and a fantastic range of weird and wonderful creatures. Our new dragon is really healthy, curious and used to human contact. Highly recommended �

Absolutely fantastic. Popped in to buy a bearded dragon today... loads of choice, all exceptionally healthy and well looked after. Big thanks to Luke who was incredibly helpful, he taught us a lot and was very professional.
