Wow.. What a find!!.. Party of 6 of us booked the Tapas on Saturday night for something different and the usual catch up with friends. I have to say being practically a veggie I wasn’t quite sure what to expect and had resigned myself to the fact that I would most likely be disappointed.. BOY WAS I WRONG! This place is a must for everyone and a complete eating experience, I absolutely loved every minute of it! The food is literally to die for and you just can’t get enough.. The beauty is you get to try all sorts of different dishes, enjoying one dish after another as the chef prepares in front of your eyes.. Cocktails ❤️ Staff super efficient and very friendly, nothing too much trouble with such a buzzing atmosphere.. We will definitely be back for more of this experience and I can’t wait! 😃

Where do I begin .... service was so on par and the staff was so personable and friendly . We went to both vanilla and the tapas bar ... I still can’t decide which one is my fav but they are both surreal . The food is perfect , plated to perfection and the deserts are to die for ..... like heavenly.

Well, where do I begin. What an amazing night with atmosphere, food, cocktails, wine, staff service and most of all, the absolute pleasure of being able to watch the chefs work and serve up our dishes. Can’t wait to get back and loved every minute of it. If I only I could award 10 stars!!

Vanilla’s food and service is exceptional as is the Tapas upstairs, we were there last night and once again food was delicious, the cocktails are the best I’ve ever tasted and the friendly staff just make this place one of our favourites. Five star every time.

Seriously by far the nicest food in the North. If you’re in Newcastle it’s a must. Excellent food, very polite, well trained and pleasant staff. My only complaint is we don’t get often enough. The other only complaint is that my tummy is sore. I’m stuffed!

Second visit to the tapas bar . Amazing food

Amazing cocktails and staff excellent for a small seaside resort this place is so so good. After eating in many 5 star restaurant in Belfast and beyond this beats them all. Can’t wait for next night out and the Jaffa expresso !

One of, if not the, best meal I've ever had in the Tapas bar. Each dish was outstanding, the customer service was relaxed and friendly. We sat out on the balcony on a mild evening. Had a couple of cocktails which were equally as delicious! Cannot recommend more.

One of my top five restaurants. To have this quality on our doorstep is remarkable how far cooking in our wee country has come.

Love the Slieve Donard but don’t shout to loud, eat at Vanilla instead.

Really popular and watched many people be turned away.

Love this place, my daughters travel down to see me, and head to Vanilla. Food is always excellent, so tasty and a great choice. My daughter asked for chocolate fondant, as she’d had it before. The waiter said it wasn’t on and she explained they travelled from Belfast longing for it , 5 mins later and he’d organised with the chefs. Says it all really - food and service, Excellent!!

Just home from an amazing evening in Vanilla - I cannot speak highly enough of the service nor the food quality and presentation - it was truly awesome. Thank you to Alan and team at front of house for superb service and all done in a friendly unpretentious manner that truly puts guests at ease throughout their experience. Had an incredible array of delicious and beautiful dishes in the Wine & Tapas bar last week with my brother & Sister in law... We’ve been raving about it since to everyone � Staff were also friendly and light hearted throughout the evening � Cant wait to go back!

Had a lovely lunch today with my parents. We were a bit late for our reservation but that wasn't an issue with the staff. The waitresses are attentive and friendly without being overbearing. I would recommend the steak sandwich, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The dark chocolate ganache was lovely too. My parents had the chicken and the roast sirloin of beef, no complaints there either. We enjoyed it that much, that we've booked a table for 10 on Mothers Day.

Great experience, fabulous menu with excellent food, served by very attentive staff in a great relaxed setting. Will certainly be back.

One of the most mouthwatering salads but it could be the main course! I could feel all the ingredients of the dish and the unusual combination of beef and squid really surprised me in a positive way. My boyfriend ordered the Thai fish burger and it blew my mind! Spicy as it should be (not too much) in a fresh bun and tender burger. Finally the Honeycomb ginger gin cocktail. So wonderfully prepared with big chunks of honeycomb, ginger and orange. Alan the waiter and the lovely waitress that made my cocktail were helpful, pleasant and fast. First time in Vanilla Tapas Bar and I wasn't disappointed with the food. It was really good,full of flavour and really good quality. My only complaint was the price of drinks. Thought the wine and beer were overpriced.

Exceptional food. Sublime....My eldest daughter is coeliac and it would have been easier to tell her what she couldn't have eaten. The selection was impressive and her Christmas dinner was adjusted to suit her requirements. I had the foie gras and the girls had goats cheese. I had the Christmas dinner too and it was so delicious. The drink selection again was fantastic and the staff were amazing, just couldn't do enough for you. Beautiful surroundings. Great with kids too! Well done Vanilla. I will certainly be back, already looking forward to the next visit.

Excellent spot of grub last night upstairs in tapas. Wasn’t quite sure as to what way it worked but Paul was on hand to talk us through everything nothing was problem. Those cocktails best i have every tried. Really like idea where you can see the chefs making the dishes all works of art vanilla would give the top spots belfast run for its money. Not be to long my next visit

Excellent evening on the balcony of Vanilla Wine & Tapas. Had some wonderful dishes and really good wine to accompany them. I would recommend the meatballs and the squid, they are a must have. Great food, great service all set in beautiful surroundings. Thank you.

Amazing food last night in the The Tapas. Great seats to watch everything being made. Friendly staff. Cocktails very easy drunk �. Would recommend it very highly for a visit. Will definitely be back
