Copthorne Hotel Cardiff-Caerdydd

This hotel has wedding packages , they hold wedding events and other events from time to time, has a bar and good food options. A pool , spa, sauna and gym on site and if you want a cheap meal McDonald's is 2 minute walk away across the road about 5 minutes walk is a tesco superstore with a petrol station and a large m&s store. To the rear a bit further walk is more stores and a burger king.

This hotel is not worth the price. I thought it was old style immaculate. No, it's just old. A few little problems with taps etc. They give complimentary drinks vouchers which was nice. Breakfast buffet is good. Lakeside view was completely obscured by scaffolding. Letter of apology in the room for that but that didn't make it any cheaper. Not central location either.

Had a lovely night stay before Cardiff uni open day. Lovely room, kind staff, we had to wait a bit to be checked in due to a circumstance and were given a complimentary breakfast which was lovely. Very kind friendly staff. Thank you! Spent many happy times in Cardiff growing up visiting family. Will be back.

A nice hotel with good value for money as long as you put some effort into negotiations on price, staff are professional and helpful. Slightly out of town but opposite a retail park with 24 hr supermarket and McDonald's. Easy access from motorway and city center. Suits my needs and I return regularly

Lovely place to have a quite drink,or afternoon tea at a reasonable price. Great facilities such as pool and gym if you are staying there. Also a great place for Christmas parties.

Amazing location, very helpful and polite staff. Laundry service is sad that they don't have there. Otherwise I would put 5 stars.

Frequent often for the gym, really great place to work out, there's classes along side which are always tiring. Staff are all-round helpful and friendly. Would recommend

Standard sort of hotel, perhaps a little dated. Nothing remarkable either way. Staff helpful and courteous. Decor could do with a revamp.

We were attending a dance class for our 2 year old daughter. It is a lovely hotel and all the staff we interacted with were very friendly. Dance class was excellent, our daughter loved it and didnt want to leave.
