Lovely park, lots of bird poo (lots of ducks, swans, geese and gulls). Lots of parking.
Our children enjoyed the play area - which has an interesting parent powered carousel. Great trees for climbing, even our 4 year old could manage a bit. Sunset can be spectacular. They've also got a medieval village section.

Went in a transport wheelchair chair for first time and noticed the pot holes in the main path. The loos are accessible. The place is lovely and relaxing. In autumn and winter not many people go there. Its really peaceful then.

A bit blustery on this October Sunday morning, but that didn't spoil a lovely walk around the lake, much enjoyed by the youngest member of our group.

Beautiful country park. Great to walk/ jog/ cycle/ horseriding. BBQ s available to hire but not a lot of shelter once you're out and about.
Swans and a variety of other birds are around as well as a medieval village which is worth a visit when open.
Please be mindful of the swans and keep young children away from them. Like any wildlife they are unpredictable and can cause serious harm to a young child ( I had to warn a parent who's toddler was about to go up and stroke one!!!)
Everyone loves Cosmeston. .. please enjoy and feel free to take your dog as there is a dog walk there 😀

It's beautiful. Natural but well maintained. It has amenities, coffee shop and ice cream. Playground, barbecue areas, lots of open spaces. Lakes, birds and wildlife. What more could you want?

Excellent place for a family picnic lots of woodland for the children to explore nice little play area beautiful scenery toilet facilities and a very well run visitor centre and cafe and plenty of parking space. All in all a fun day out for any family.

amongst the most beautiful places around here - made on a disused limestone quarry very deep; from the bridge on some days when the water is clear you can see the crane left at the bottom.

Also worth mentioning as it is not on the maps - Lavernock Point at the S end of Cosmeston lakes park; as you reach the style go across the road and to the left to the next junction on the right: Fort road; take that and go to the end of it then down to the pebbly beach.
