Crawfordsburn Scout Centre is a leading campsites and activity centre for Scouts, Guides, Schools and other recognised Youth Organisations /Clubs in NI.
Crawfordsburn Scout Centre Description
Crawfordsburn has over 20 activities including Climbing and Abseiling, 3G Swing, Challenge (Obstacle) Course, Archery, Crate Climb and Grass Sledging. The campsite is fully serviced and secure and boasts a Wet Weather Activity Shelter. There is also a range of indoor and outdoor accommodation for those who do not wish to camp.
Located in Crawfordsburn Country Park we are close to good road and rail transport, and are just 10 miles from Belfast and three miles from Bangor.

Crawfordsburn Scout Centre are looking for freelance staff for the 2020 season. We are based inside the beautiful Crawfordsburn Country Park near Bangor, County Down in Northern Ireland. We would like people who are enthusiastic in providing a range of outdoor activities, including climbing, abseiling, zipline, archery and watersports, among others. Applicants should be self – motivated with a passion for the outdoors and able to inspire others and promote our activities in a safe, fun and professional manner.

An old photo of Trinity College Mission Scouts and another of them hard at work here at Crawfordsburn. They are helping to build a bridge to allow access to another field in the campsite in preparation for a visit from the then Chief Scout Lord Rowallan to celebrate the 50th anniversary of scouting in 1957.
