Crazycatz Academy Description
After working eight years as a performer with Haven Holidays, British Holidays , Abroad on and of stage at Christmas pantomimes, Touring with own Cabaret road show as well as teaching in several schools . The love of performing and wanting to pass on to younger generations gave the first idea for Crazy Catz to begin.
In 2010 Crazy Catz was started for the community of Penmaenmawr . Now coming up to our fifth year we are Offering classes for different age groups with classes in Dance, Musical Theatre Ballet, Adult Dancercise and school holiday clubs. Classes are taught in a fun yet focused atmosphere encouraging confidence and nurturing talent. Pupils have a wonderful time with us learning skills and gaining confidence that will stay with them for life weather they choose a career in performance or the public eye.
The ability of Crazy Catz ranges from experienced dancers to complete beginners , all we ask is for our pupils is to TRY there best . We feel it is important for all abilities to be seen at the front weather it be the good , bad or indifferent. Through our Drama sessions we try to bring out the natural ability of each pupil , how ever we never push a pupil to do something they do not feel confident or happy with. Gentle persuasion and support is sometimes all our pupils need.
We are very proud of our past pupils who have already gained places on Performing Arts courses and university’s. They still join us when we have our Dance workshops in the holidays and back stage in our shows. They are great role models to our existing members.
Our classes are held in Maenalaw Penmaenmawr in our down stairs studio with spring board flooring and this year mirrored walls are to be fitted to help with the training of our members. Crazy Catz will be opening a second school in Llanferfechan September 2015.

What a wonderful evening last night thank you all for attending I think every one had a lovely time and So nice to see you all enjoying yourself parents included. The awards were all well deserved by each and everyone on the stage including our chaperones. Please post pictures as obviously I got none 🙈

My sister is running a summer school next week she has a break dancing teacher in in the Tuesday, it's a fantastic opportunity to any age . Senior girls would really Benifit from this session or any of our confident juniors and most definitely our boys. We can have a group discount in booking. And I will also be attending as a pupil 🙈
