Thursday is scorchio!!
Sutmae!!! It’s another hot and humid day folks, with a small chance of a thundery shower early afternoon. Any gusty winds on the tops will ease early morning. Maximum feel like temperatures 27C in the valleys and 20C at 600m. High UV levels means plenty of sunscreen and plenty of fluids. Finally, a reminder that this weather is not good for taking your hounds out hiking, leave them at home in the shade...
Sutmae! The thunderstorms last night didn’t let us down, they were full on! If you thought they would make the today feel fresher...no. It’s a warm and humid day, with thin cloud mostly, although we may have a few sunny spells. Maximum feel like temperatures 21C in the valleys and 16C at 600m. Another day to take plenty of fluids with you if you’re out walking and UV protection. With temperatures this warm, best to leave the hounds at home, at least until it cools off!
Well done
Sutmae! So it begins...any early low cloud will clear to leave a dry, sunny and warm day...even scorchio! Maximum feel like temperatures...ready for this? 27C in the valleys and 20C at 600m 😳. It’s also going to feel humid, so you know what to do...plenty of sunscreen, plenty of fluids and most definitely a hat! There is also a chance of thunderstorms with heavy downpours this evening. In this heat, it’s best to leave your hound at home if you’re venturing into the hills, if the pavement is too hot to place the back of your hand on, it’s too hot for their pads...#justsaying
Sounds a lovely walk! We have Dicky bags in stock...if ever your hound is took short miles from a poo bin!
Bore da...Any low cloud and drizzle should clear by the afternoon and then warm, sunny spells will arrive, more so in the east of the Park. Poor visibility during the morning with some gusty winds, which will also reach in the valleys. Maximum feel like temperatures 18C in the valleys and 13C at 600m, which will be around 3pm. Get yourselves ready for the heat later in the week!
Well done!
Went for little bimble after work with our Robbie...admired the lovely new stiles around Table Mountain...well done Brecon Beacons National Park boys! Thank you!!
Bore da...better today! Any cloud will lift and we can expect sunny spells 🌞 The clouds will thicken this evening bringing light rain or drizzle during the early hours of Monday morning. Maximum feel like temperatures 17C in the valleys and 11C at 600m. The skies have cleared already here in Crickhowell, hope they have with you too!
Another callout this morning
Sutmae! Today will start claggy with low cloud, but should improve during the morning as the clouds break up. We should even see some sunny spells with high UV levels, so you’ll be needing the sunscreen. An isolated shower may also feature, which could be heavy. Maximum feel like temperatures 16C in the valleys and 11C at 600m. Bonkers, a day where you need your brolly AND sunscreen!!
We know! We know! The big one came and visited us too...she is HUGE but so docile...nearly as tall as me!!
Bore da...we can’t complain I suppose after all the lovely sunshine we’ve been having. Welcome to soggy Friday. Heavy rain to start, giving way to extensive low cloud and patchy rain/drizzle. Wind strengthens during the afternoon, enough to perhaps clear the clouds and we may have some brighter spells, but showers are always on the cards. Maximum feel like temperatures 16C in the valleys and 11C at 600m...you’ll just need the correct clothing if you venture out today!!
So sad 😞
Another callout!
An article on Brecon in this months TGO Magazine
Sutmae! We start the day a bit dull and cloudy, but this will soon break and lift, so that we have a largely dry day with sunny spells. There is a chance of an isolated shower in the west of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Maximum feel like temperatures 17C in the valleys and 11C at 600m. Not a bad day then!
