User

Went for curry night, had the menu for 2 people, absolutely delicious, better than a curry house, worth every penny, staff very friendly and helpful, will be visiting when we’re in Wales again.

User

We had dinner here 3 nights and breakfast one morning and we weren't disappointed ! (Obviously as otherwise we wouldn't have kept going back)

The portion were massive (too much at times) but very reasonably priced and superb quality, if you're in the area looking for something to eat I would highly recommend this place :)

User

We had a lovely meal here at the weekend with the best roast potatoes we’ve ever had. I happened to mention on my booking that we would be celebrating my husbands 30th birthday and the staff made our meal extra special by decorating the table with balloons for us.

User

They squeezed us in on a really busy night and the fish and chips were perfect. Lovely friendly staff as well as good food. Just what we needed. Thank you 😊

User

Stayed here for new year break. Had a fantastic time. Warm welcome from Chris and the staff were so warm and friendly. Room comfortable and everything what we needed. Food was delicious. New year's eve was fantastic such a lovely atmosphere and staff worked so hard. We will definitely will be back to stay here. Thank you cross foxes xxx

User

Lovely meal here yesterday lunchtime. The food was tasty and well presented, and the staff were very friendly and efficient. I especially appreciated the gentleman from Wolverhampton (possibly the manager!) who had learnt to speak Welsh so well! Bravo!

User

Love this place always visit when in area, Sunday lunch this time, all gluten free! Really nice place, food and staff

User

Just left here very satisfied after a fabulously hearty meal! Great service with friendly staff and comfortable surroundings. If you want grub that will stick to your bones and keep you warm this is your place! Thumbs up

User

Had to drive from south west Wales to Anglesey and back in the day.

Could smell the food on passing, so on the way back we just called in, on a Saturday night.

The place was busy but didn't have to wait long for a table.

The food was fantastic, large portions, service was good. Really helpful staff. I would go here again

User

Had an amazing evening meal at the Cross Foxes, the manager was very welcoming and friendly. The bar and restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and we are already considering staying in one of their lovely rooms advertised, for a weekend. We will most definitley be back soon. I am also gluten intolerant and nearly everything on the menu was available as a gluten free option, which is fantastic. Thank you for a lovely evening.

User

Had a fab late Sunday lunch yesterday- excellent attentive staff, melt in the mouth beef & lamb & starters & puds all delicious. Had a meal for Mother’s Day in the Ship in town & it was awful, sent 4 meals back as it was inedible- we shall always come to Cross Foxes in future

User

Called in was going to pass by so glad we didn't we had Sunday lunch at 7pm great as you can never get it after 3pm usually 5* from us

User

After a day trudging up Cadair Idris, my fiancé & I stopped off for a late lunch & had a lovely meal. We started with soup followed by roast beef. Both were very tasty Service was great & the staff very friendly. See you again soon

User

5 of us and 1 dog called for our lunch , wow! Absolutely delicious, Chargrilled minute steak on ciabatta roll with chunky chips and salad . Lovely cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back!

User

Very welcoming and friendly staff, good choice of food on menu at reasonable prices for the portions. Good selection of beers and ales. Had a fantastic welsh lamb pie. Only downside was the veg that accompanied it as it was overcooked/limp and possibly reheated as it wasn't as crisp as I would've expected if freshly cooked. Would go again and it didn't spoil the overall meal.

User

Veggie choice was a bit limited (disappointed I missed the Sunday menu) but the food (and craft lager) was delicious; good value

User

Always try an call in for a pint on route to our caravan in Tywyn lovely place

User

Food was nice but the restaurant was very noisy with bar staff being particularly loud when cleaning glasses. We waited an hour for the food and the fries with one of the meals where cold when they arrived. We would go again but would hope it would be a little quieter and that the food come a bit quicker.
