I knew a return to fitness in my 40‚Äôs would be difficult...it has been more challenging than I imagined! I‚Äôm not posting an embarrassing before and after pic, because frankly, it‚Äôs too embarrassing ūü§£ I feel better than I look and this means more to me than a bikini pic because it‚Äôs what keeps me going (it‚Äôs all going on between my... ears) CrossFit has proved to be exciting, ever changing and sometimes illusive and has kept me going back for more ūüĎćūüŹĽ I must give a big shout out to everyone @crossfit470merthyr the coaches and athletes alike, you‚Äôve been tremendous and I have enjoyed becoming part of ‚Äėour CrossFit community‚Äô. Finally, CrossFit isn‚Äôt for everyone, but it could be! As a working mother I notice a ‚Äėfirm culture‚Äô of team sports is almost nonexistent for us, in the same way it is for our male counterparts, this made me feel lost as to where/how I would re-start my fitness journey.
