Go my daughter to pick a watch. Payed for it. All payed for then when the guy went to put my details in for the 2yr cover that came with watch. Notice the card was not in my name. Made to have a refund even thou I phone my partner up and had him on the phone. Made to feel like I had stolen the card. One upset daughter. Won't be going back my money will go in other store. They lost out on 200 pound!

Don't use this company, simple as that. 4 months wait (and counting) for a repair that was quoted as two to four weeks. The only contact has been instigated by myself. Save yourself the hassle, go somewhere else.

Took a ring in to be resized on June 9th and I am still waiting for it come back. When I ring to find out if it is back I am given a variety of excuses. Customer service from what I thought was one of the top jewellers is appalling.

Went into the shop on the 27th June and was served straight away by a very kind gentleman called Dimitri. We were offered a complimentary drink while trying on wedding rings. Customer service was outstanding and prices are very reasonable. My partner and I bought both of our wedding rings for just under £1,000. I would recommend this store to anyone looking for high quality jewellery

Bought my engagement ring here. I had no idea what I was doing but members of staff helped me to chose the right one and my now fiancee loves it!

Absolutely devastated. My wife bought me a gold Breitling Navitimer as a retirement present. It was on display in the window and she paid £15,700 for it.

Once home going through box and documents I realised it had been sold to me without the Swiss Attestation Certificate, bezel protector and hang tag. I returned to store and informed them of the missing items. Sales assistant said they would order replacements. He didn't have any explanation where the originals had dissapeared to. Very odd, anguish +++.

After a couple of weeks waiting / chasing them with no sign of items appearing I returned to the store to see the manager. He said items were on there way. I said I had lost all trust and confidence in the store and the watch. I requested a refund or exchange for a complete package. He consulted with 'senior manager' by phone. Said he had to examine watch with eye glass and microscope. Returned to me and said he wouldn't refund or exchange watch because there were signs of wear. I had not worn the watch. Gave me £300 as compensation for the missing items, which arrived next day.

I subsequently inspected the watch in forensic detail for signs of wear. I was horrified to see actual damage to the underside of the case. A small gouge that you wouldn't necessarily notice unless you were looking for it. Especially under shop lighting. I wasn't given the chance to inspect the watch with an eye glass at time of purchase. This damage was not caused by me. I felt physically sick, still do.

I emailed Fraser Hart head office - they are not interested.

I now have an expensive watch that I can't re-sell or trade in . I don't even like wearing it because all I focus on is the damage.

On reflection I thought it was odd that the sales assistant presented the watch to me on a grotty tray, didn't bother giving it a polish and made no atrempt to give me basic operating instructions.

Take home message:
There are other jewelers
Always inspected intended purchase in forensic detail before parting with cash
Place no value in 30 day returns policies
Buyer beware!
