From 1st July 2019 we will be changing the time it takes for prescription requests to be processed from 24 hours to 48 hours (2 Working days). This means if you put in your request on a Monday, it should be ready for collection on Wednesday and if you put in your request on a Friday it should be ready on the Tuesday etc.
Hope we can count on patient support regarding this change as it will help relieve pressure on our admin team who are having to deal with an ever increasing amount of prescription requests.

Please continue to consult your pharmacist for minor illnesses such as: coughs, colds, sore throat, rashes, ear problems etc.
If you require medical attention when the surgery is closed you have a number of options:-

Community pharmacies can provide advice and medication for lots of minor problems. Under some circumstances medication will be free ("Common Ailments Service")
The GP out of hours service can be contacted on 02920 444500.
Note that Ambulance and A&E services for emergency life threatening problems only and this should be taken into consideration when choosing these services.

Just to remind everyone, we do have cycle parking should you need it down alongside the pharmacy, just before the steps to the Medical Centre. This seems to be always empty unlike our car park. 🙂
