Good place for tech and household electronic items has good deals on clearance items scour the online site before going to the store as you can pre order online and the online sometimes offers run longer than in store then click and collect the items and they give the online price

Pc World used to be the go to place for me for odds and ends computer stuff. No longer. It is now an add on to a Currys store and the range is limited. On this visit I wanted a memory stick (combi usb and micro usb). A horde of idle assistants pestered me wanting to provide 'help' I didn't want. When I found what I needed and took it to the till there was one cashier dealing with a customer who had a problem. After waiting for ages during which time a number of assistants strolled past I abandoned the item and left. Will stick to on line purchased in future. Not a pleasant shopping experience.

Always a good deal and customer service is good. Could teach staff a bit more knowledge about the items spec etc though

It is very refreshing to find a salesman who is helpful knowledgeable and met all our requirements. We purchased a Bosch washing machine at a competitive price and a 5 year support package. The salesman who is exceptional is Ronnie thanks so much

Do not buy from Currys. Ordered a freezer online and the one delivered was not the dimensions described online. Delivery driver was pushy. Took old freezer away then unwrapped the new freezer in there van. He suggested I sign for it to allow the returns process. The driver said it was OK to use in the mean time until the correct freezer could dispatched. Rang customer services and said do not use the product. I am know left without a freezer for 6 days.

Unfortunately currys newport road appears to suffer from the " sorry I don't work on that department" syndrome. They appear happy for staff to stand around on departments void of customers whilst customers in other departments are stood around for ages waiting to be served. I went here today with the father in law to buy a £900 tv, after finally spotting a member of staff hiding behind a banner in the computer department, I discovered that most TVs they have on display are not in stock. This should not have come as a surprise however as when I went to the same store 6 weeks ago it was a similar story. Visit 1, walked out after 15mins after being fobbed off by two "not my department staff". Went back a week later, guess what, on display but not in stock. I give up!!!

Helpful staff always on hand and alot of wandering around is possible they're got so much to look at .

It's only getting 2 stars as a certain staff member was very pushy for us to buy dearer fittings (cables) to go with the appliance we'd bought. The 1st staff member was excellent in his knowledge of our purchase, explaining the good and the bad of each appliance. I'd give him 5 stars + for that.

Popped in to ask about some Bluetooth headphones we bought just under a year ago, one speaker not working properly. No receipt, but less than 5 minutes later we were walking our with a brand new set of headphones. Amazing customer service. And for that reason I will continue to shop there.
