Currys Pc World Featuring Carphone Warehouse

No problems on the domestic items front.. bought three items in the last week and everything perfect. Two items were next day delivery (fridge and washing machine) and one I collected (oven). Staff were efficient and friendly (Cameron and Georgia, also a big guy helped load the van, don't know his name). Recommended.

Good choice of products and some really good unadvertised deals. Well worth a look. Downside, staff constantly following you around like your a thief and asking if you need any help. Really does get annoying.

Recently i called into this store to purchase a new lap top, due to my old Windows Vista being out of date. I selected the product i wanted, and was assured that all the files etc could be transferred from my old lap to the new one. I paid for a Memory stick, and Cloud as back up should i have a problem with the new lap top. I called in the day after to collect the same only to discover that they were having problems with the transfer of my files. I spent well over an hour watching at least five experts trying to transfer my details. I was getting more frustrated my the minute so i suggested that we forget the whole transaction. I was taken to another lap top which i was assured would have no problem in the transfer. I went along with this, leaving all my details etc with the staff. I called back at 4-30 the following day. Everything ready for you they said, all packed up ready to go. I requested a demonstration as to how i would be able to operate my new lap top. No problem. that was until the staff tried to demonstrate the whereabouts of my files. Again a meeting of the experts was called, all to no avail. at this i pulled the plug on the whole idea of a replacement lap top from this store and demanded a full refund. It became evident that lack of product knowledge was a key factor in the failure of the sale.The staff were all very pleasant but failed to offer customer satisfaction. Sorry Rhyl store. I have always been happy with Curry's in the past, but i will not be visiting this store again.

Just the worst. Can never get anybody to help you. Have no knowledge of the products that they sell and have twice been given bad advice. Will never shop there again.

Their warehouse seems to be empty as I don't think they've ever had an item in stock when I've asked for it. This happened with a surround system, although perhaps that's to be expected as it was close to Christmas. I ordered online and paid for next day delivery before 12pm on Xmas Eve. By 3pm I decided to call them to chase, and the customer services told me the item wasn't in stock. They then initially refused to refund the delivery charge, so I instead cancelled the entire order and went to someone who wanted my business. Won't be using Currys again.
