It's a bit difficult to get there for a first time, but the carpark is quite big and spacious. Plenty of hiking tracks from this place. Do not forget that this carpark is paid (COINS ONLY).
National TRUST members - FREE PARKING
The best route up Pen y Fan, and free parking if you are a National trust member
Narrow access roads but still a great place to start your adventure up to Pen y fan.
Lovely views. Fairly easy walk. Train option. Parking can be in high demand at peak season.
Perfect starting location for a walk up to Pen-y-fan. Note that it's pay and display (unless you're a National Trust member). All the money goes to the NT for trail upkeep, etc.
