Stayed at the hotel for two nights for a friend's wedding. Not only was the wedding simply perfect, the staff amazing in their anticipation of every need, and the grounds picture beautiful, but the Spa experience the day before was just about the best I have had - topping Grayshott Hall anytime. Will definitely consider driving back just to enjoy that again.

Myself my mam and sister booked a spa day with yourself and absolutely loved it. From the receptionist, to my back massage therapist to those working in the restaurant were all extremely kind and could not do enough to make you feel welcome.

My back massage was so relaxing I almost fell asleep.

We was a bit disappointed the steam room was out of service but hopefully will be up and running for our next visit.

We look forward to visiting again soon, I wondered if you done gift vouchers that I was able to purchase?

Thank you for a special day.

I booked a night in the hotel for a surprise gift for my wife and I for our wedding anniversary. We were met at the reception desk by a very nice receptionist who on hearing it was our anniversary upgraded us to a beautiful suite free of charge. The room was fantastic, clean and very comfortable. The whole hotel staff were very professional and pleasant to both of us. We ate in the restaurant and the food was outstanding and the service was brilliant we were given complimentary drinks for our anniversary, which was a nice touch and the waiter couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast the next morning was a buffet and the selection was fabulous from a full English to continental and cereal. The price for the whole day was was worth every penny and i would of been happy to paid more. Thank you to everyone for making our special day even better. I highly recommend a stay here and will definitely be visiting again myself.

We attended our niece's wedding 26th August 2017. We stayed for 2 nights having a wonderful family meal on Friday 25th in the Morgan Room. The food and service were outstanding. I choose a vegan option which was amazing. The hotel were very accommodating about having vegan options.

Room service breakfast on Saturday morning was fantastic (we did bring our own soya milk) I should have asked and I'm sure the hotel would have had some.

The Bride Tribe were in the pink cottage adding to the excitement of the night before the wedding and then the thrill of them all getting ready together the morning of the wedding with make up artist and hair stylists. The cottage was roomy, comfy and perfect.

The Team were fantastic in every aspect, attentive, knowledgeable and respectful. They helped enhance an already exciting and wonderful day.

The hotel grounds were beautiful, very well kept with stunning backdrops. The weather was glorious it honestly felt like we were in the Med. Good amount of seating areas to socialise.

When we were called in to get seated for the ceremony it took my breath away, the seating flowers, mirrors and lighting.

Our niece choose the music which added to the anticipation when the curtain was opened the bridesmaids walked elegantly down the aisle with already tears in our eyes then right on cue our beautiful niece and brother in law her lovely proud dad walked down the red carpeted aisle it was bliss.

After the emotional ceremony we had drinks pimms or Buck's Fizz we all chatted around the courtyard area. The atmosphere was electric.

Photos took place amongst the stunning grounds.

The wedding breakfast was superb. Wow how quickly the fantastic team turned the event room around just like magic. The tables looked amazing! I had asked for a vegan option the food was outstanding huge compliments to the chef and team.

The evening party was great fun. Fabulous atmosphere, dance floor full the entire night with some interesting bar bills the next morning I'm sure. The team located me and gave me my vegan version of the buffet which was delicious, very thoughtful, thank you.

Simon, you and your team were top class. We loved every minute of a very special family occasion.

Thank you all so much.

Our 1st visit here was a surprise treat off my husband for our anniversary was very impressed on arrival with warm friendly efficient & quick check in with Elizabeth unfortunately though the only room available when my husband booked was room 48 in the annexe Which is in desperate need of a refurb tired worn decor throughout marks on the walls and carpet mouldy old showerhead tiles black moulding grout in places rusty radiator pipes a mirror which was so small I could only see the top of my head such a let down. The bed and bedding was spotless clean so were the towels and there was plenty of complimentary tea coffee. We went back to reception and Elizabeth could see we were disappointed but still no other rooms available to move us. She gave us a free late check out room and gave us information on local attractions and copies of menus for evening meal. A* customer service great asset to you Thank you Elizabeth!! Our lunch evening meal and breakfast was wonderful all of a very high standard all the staff were friendly and attentive. We were well looked after in the bar area too. There was a problem in the spa pool where their dehumidifier was broken resulting in a steamy hot pool area. The staff there were great too giving us a grand tour! So my 4 * are aimed towards the staff and certainly not the building. Sorry you need to sort it out Ramada! Overall a good time though.

User

My boyfriend and I have stayed here about six times now and have always enjoyed our stays. The staff are helpful and nice, both in the gym/spa and hotel. The rooms are good value for money and always clean. The food in the evening is exceptional, always delicious with excellent options for veggies and vegans.

The only issues issue I would say are:

1. they should consider limiting the times during which noisy parties and children are allowed in the pool to help facilitate a relaxing environment where everyone can get a lounger (it is a spa after all).

2. Breakfast is not worth your while. It's totally over priced for the quality. I can only a assume a different chef does breakfasts to the evening food, as the difference in quality/ skill is unbelievable. I wonder if they even employ an actual chef for the mornings, as food can be microwaved by anyone.

User

Had a lovely day and massage at the spa; however, the vapour from whatever they poured in the jacuzzi (twice whilst we were there) made our eyes sting and gave me a headache, so we had to avoid that side of the pool area for the rest of our stay. I forgot to ask what it was but it appeared to be something to reduce the foam build up (bromine?).

Apart from that the massage therapist was lovely and put me at my ease and they were very accommodating in dietary requests for our afternoon tea.

User

We got married here in 2010 and returned for my birthday as this place had special memories. When we arrived we were told we were saying in a room in the Annexe.. I now recommend if your room is in this part of the hotel change it immediately.. as we entered the building the carpet was covered in stains and iron marks.. ok I thought not as nice as the main building but at £85 B&B guess this is what you get? Room was very basic and a bit dingy. But it was upon closer inspection I was very shocked. The bathroom ceiling was covered in black spores from damp, again there iron burns and marks on the carpet but the worst was behind the bed there were lots of little dead flies.. to top it off two massive moths joined us.

Apart from the state of the room.. no 47 btw, the food was delicious, staff were friendly and gym/pool are great.

User

Visited the spa on Sunday 15th, firstly the staff were really friendly, but the facilities were disappointing, the women’s toilet bin was literally overflowing with women’s toiletries and one of the two toilets were blocked! the showers were luke warm, and the steam room wasn’t working. We did get a reduction of £5 off the original £25 fee as the steam was out of service. The spa area around the pool looks tired, there were cracked and dirty grouted tiles and not very well kept, the tiles in the changing room are not anti-slip as my friend fell and cut her knee due to all the water brought in from the pool, thankfully she was fine but still very dangerous.

Although relaxing the facilities are very dated which lets it down. Even at £20 I feel the rate far exceeds the standard of the spa facilities.

It’s a shame as I have eaten at the bar and restaurant and have used their conference rooms and had colleagues stay there regular and it’s always been good. Spa really lets this hotel down.

User

Very surprised at this hotel as we were expecting something a bit special given our experience at Ramada hotels. The room was an acceptable standard and clean. The bathroom was clean and well equipped except for no loo brush! Why? We tried to order a cab at 6pm to eat out and were told that the first available was 9pm so we ate in the restaurant. The dinner was fairly good and reasonable value though the staff needed better training. The wine , Malbec was excellent and good value. The bar was equipped with a poor selection of lagers and beers. The bar Manager was rude serving up my drink with a There you are young man ... Ageist and patronising given that I’m 67. I think he was probably showing off to the girl he was training. We didn’t try the spa. The following morning I ordered a Full breakfast and it’s the first time I’ve had one of these with One rasher of bacon and One sausage and tasteless frozen mushrooms. A real disappointment.
