Cyc Community Learning Description
Our Community Learning Unit has been delivering courses in the community as part of Coleg Morgannwg for many years, listening to the residents and catering for their needs. Coleg Morgannwg will be merging very soon with Ystrad Mynach College under our new name "Coleg y Cymoedd" in which we will continue to deliver in the community.
Our small, informal and friendly courses are offered at Outreach centres throughout Rhondda Cynon Taff including libraries, church halls and community centres.
There are many reasons why people join our courses: -
• To gain qualifications for work
• To pursue a hobby
• To meet new people
• To improve their confidence and self esteem
• For health reasons i. e. relaxation
Our courses range from Basic IT to Health & Wellbeing, Digital Photography and Arts & Crafts.
