The Welsh Highland Railway Society was formed to support and to take a leading role in the restoration and operation of the Welsh Highland Railway. The moral support of every member is valuable of course, but in addition those who can are taking an active part in the rebuilding: laying track, restoring old buildings, working to overhaul historic steam engines, helping in the operation of the trains, manning the stations.

Not every member can get practically involved, we all know that. But every member is a known friend and supporter, doing a little to help, and bringing this great project forward. And membership entitles you to discounted travel on both the Welsh Highland (Caernarfon) and Ffestiniog Railways.
