The post allows for flexible working conditions, We are looking to recruit;
• 2 Part Time staff to work Days / evenings and weekends - 20+ hours per week
• 2 Full Time staff to work Permanent Nights shifts 7 days per week - 30+ hours per week. Staff are paid enhancement for Awake nights
- Experience preferable - Access to vehicle essential for role - Staff paid travelling time, mileage and full hourly rate for all training - In going training given - Support provided for SCW registration - Successful candidates are required to provide an enhanced disclosure

Disability Wales and Brexit Civil Society Forum have been awarded funding to support disabled people in Wales as the UK exits the EU. There have been concerns Brexit could impact adversely on disabled people having. Access to services, equipment or medication. The project will provide a conduit for concerns and up-to- date information.

Domiciliary care workers in Wales have until 1st April 2020 to register with Social Care Wales.
SCW is asking most people to register by 13th January 2020, so their registration is complete before the deadline.
To meet the initial registration requirements, workers must demonstrate they are competent to work in the sector, either by completing an online principles and values work book and assessment, getting their manager to confirm their competence or by having an appropri...ate qualification.

The law to amend the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) has been changed.
The Mental Capacity (Amendment) Bill has now passed into law. It replaces the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) with a scheme known as the Liberty Protection Safeguards.

Cymorth Llaw was recently inspected on an unannounced visit by CSSIW, the Care and Social Services Inspectorate for Wales. For the 17th consecutive year, the home care agency has received yet another glowing inspection report, again without recommendation for service improvement what so ever.
... This follows on from a recent inspection conducted by the North Wales Domiciliary Frame Work Agreement, who found the agency to be 'exemplar' within service provision.
Outstanding news and all credit must go to those exceptional people who wear our yellow uniforms, providing good quality care to many people at home!
