Information for competitors.

I write this with great sadness in my heart. We have recently learned that one of our senior club members Ryan Hamer was involved in a car accident in the early hours of Sunday morning and has since tragically passed away.
Ryan had been a student at our club from the age of 8, and through his hard work and dedication, over the years he worked through the grades eventually attaining the rank of 2nd Dan Black Belt. He became a well-respected member and friend of the club and... with his supportive and pleasant nature had a positive influence over many of his fellow students and friends.
Ryan had recently taken some time away from training to concentrate on his love of music which indeed was his passion; he played the drums in his own band “Rapture”, who our thoughts are also with at this difficult time.
On behalf of everyone at the club, we would like to offer our deepest condolences to Ryan’s family and friends.
Ryan’s family have requested that in his memory, people help with raising awareness of the importance of blood donation, and to ensure the Hospitals Blood Banks have enough stock for emergencies such as this.
