Can we please advise residents that the X5 which runs through Tonna in the evenings maybe late due to the work that is being undertaken on Llantwit Road. The bus will travel through Tonna and turn at Cwm Celyn and back through the village.to carry on its journey. We apprecaite your patience with us during that time.

DANSA is an amalgamation of the former DVPCT (Dulais Valley Community Transport) and BWSTLER (serving the Swansea area).
DANSA (Dulais, Afan, Neath, Swansea and Amman valleys) is a Membership based not for profit Community Transport organisation that aims to provide a Community Transport service to people who live within these areas who may not have easy access to conventional transport arrangements. We also provide a demand responsive Community Transport service to Swansea ...for groups and individuals who live in the Urban Areas of Swansea.
DANSA has been designed to meet the transport needs of older people, people with disabilities and people who are unable to access conventional public transport. We also aim to meet the needs of charities and other organisations that require accessible, affordable transport to ensure that their service users, group members and others are able to access the services and activities that they provide.
DANSA has a number of services that cover various and complex transport needs. For more information on these services please go to the Our Services page.
DANSA operates a variety of vehicles from Cars, MPV’s, Small mini buses to Larger 16+ seat mini buses. The majority of our vehicles are fully accessible and we are therefore able to transport passengers who use wheelchairs. The vehicles are driven mainly by paid staff, who are fully MiDAS trained with many years experience in delivering Community Transport services.
DANSA also values its Volunteer Drivers, who are invaluable in delivering our Services. We are always in need of Volunteers who are prepared to give up some of their valuable time helping us deliver a better service for the communities we serve.
