Chimney breast restoration

We are very proud of the before and after of this particular project. In short the room was stripped of all paper and decor, plastic trim etc and even the fireplace removed and taken back to brick.
We then restored the brick fireplace, built a window seat in the bay, Laid a new wood floor and replastered the whole room.
We think the pictures speak for themselves...

A customer contacted us as they needed there front door area sorting out which we reboarded and patched in. We also partial replaced the kitchen ceiling and boxed a pipe in. Suffice to say the customer was over the moon 👌🏻

This chimney breast was taken back to brick and restored!
All the joints were raked out and the brick faces cleaned
... We then re pointed it all and sealed the bricks to prevent any dust in the future
The slate hearth was then relayed and the inside of the fireplace tiled ready for the new log burner
This happy customer was roasting chestnuts this Christmas!

A customer contacted us regarding the poor state of his walls in his front room. Everything below the picture rail was replastered leaving an over the moon customer with nice squared up flat walls ready for decoration!

The cement was hanging off the walls in this room, it was taken back to brick and the ceiling pulled down and we started again.
2 coats of cement render to the walls leaving them solid like new

The whole room was then plastered leaving a brand new space ready for decorating in time for its new baby inhabitant!

We love a good time lapse!!
Terrible condition walls were hacked off to the brick and we applied two coats of cement render leaving a nice flat finish ready for the finish plaster!
This is how we did it 👍🏼

The side of this house was in very poor condition. All the old ‘blown’ cement render was removed, the bricks were treated with a slurry coat then a scratch coat applied. A top coat was then applied to a fine down, smooth finish.

Here you can see the upstairs of a property where we were asked to plaster all the ceilings upstairs. The whole floor was open plan so we plastered these altogether in one set, so as to avoid having to put any joins in. These came out really well and the customer was left happy no longer having to stare at dreadfull artex ceilings. Are you looking to get rid of some ugly artex in your home?
