Having bought various items from Davies and Davies Furniture over the years and always been impressed with their customer service, product range and delivery it was no surprise to me that when I visited last month to take a look at their range of mattresses and divans, in particular the ones from the Devey by Duvalay collection that their customer service was superb.

The help and advice I received from Dafydd was exceptional. He was very passionate about the company, the products and services that they provide such as assembling furniture in customer’s homes and free delivery. He was very helpful and thorough when talking about the mattresses I was interested in from the Devey by Duvalay collection. What I loved is how he was a wealth of information and facts about the products without having to refer to a product catalogue. Off the top of his head he could provide details of how the products are handcrafted and the materials used to make them.

As they did not currently have swatches of fabric for the divans he was extremely kind to offer to get samples direct from the manufacturer for me, showing yet again great customer service and willingness to help the customer so they get the right product for them.

It was clear to see as he showcased the range and other items that they are proud to sell the products that they stock, selling high quality items that they believe in and which are appealing to customers.

All of my dealings with Davies and Davies Furniture have been brilliant and it is lovely to see a company who puts their customers first, are helpful and very friendly, and make shopping locally at a family run business a wonderful experience.

Fast and friendly service at a very good price. Bought a divan bed, headboard and mattress all for £340 delivered. Its also at the delivery point that this company is different to many mainstream brands. They will go to all lengths to get the job done properly, unlike some who just strip the plastic off, say goodbye and leave you with more mess to clear up! They also took my old mattress away for a small fee. Very Good...

Been looking for new bedroom furniture for a few months. Wanted oak and nothing grabbed until I saw Parisienne sleigh bed in their store. Really friendly helpful service and I had the first lot delivered yesterday. Absolutely beautiful oak furniture manufactured to a high spec and design. Worth paying a little bit more for such quality. Highly recommended and a great family business. Diolch yn fawr!

Bank holiday weekend and we had a mattress emergency! Myself and Nicola Howard returned home to find our dog had been very ill on our bed - new mattress required. Down to Davies and Davies in the hope that a suitable replacement could be found and not too long for delivery. Found the perfect mattress at a great price....and they even delivered it within the hour!! This is why we shop local wherever possible...the big chains in Carmarthen etc are not a patch on this superb local business. Diolch yn fawr!
