What a wonderful shop owned by the equally wonderful Adele. My daughter has recently bought her dress from Adele who made the whole experience perfect. Her professional, calm and enthusiastic manner has ensured that my daughter has felt special every step so far. She has offered lots of advice whilst still taking on board my daughters wishes. So glad we chose to come here as we both feel my daughter has bought the most stunning dress with the added bonus of gaining a friend!

Thankyou for such a lovely experience today, I didn't make an appointment but was given the full VIP treatment to try on my first ever wedding dress with mum. I'll absolutely be back (I can't stop thinking about those long princess veils!) 5* service from Adele.

On the morning of going wedding dress shopping for the first time, I felt sick. I’d worked myself up into such a nervous wreck that my fiancé had to take my phone away from me in fear of me ringing De Mariee Boutique and cancelling my appointment. As we were driving over to Monmouth from Lydney, I was almost in tears, I felt overwhelmed and under pressure. And then we walked into the boutique and Adele calmed any nervousness I had. She didn’t once pressure me, she was kind, considerate and made me feel like I was shopping with an old friend. I had brought an entourage with me as we were bridesmaid dress shopping and Adele went out of her way to make every single one of them feel welcomed, even popping next door to borrow chairs from the cafe! She walked with me through the dresses, asked me questions about what I wanted and let me try on dresses I thought I’d like but suggested ones she thought would suit me. One she picked up I was really underwhelmed by on the hanger but thought nothing of it, until I put it on. She said I’d “know the one” when I put it on.. and she was right. She had known what would suit me better than I knew what would suit me, but didn’t once make me feel like I was making the wrong decision. I was made to feel so special and so confident that I actually didn’t want to leave! I didn’t decide on my dress until i had tried another wedding dress shop and had a terrible experience - I called Adele when I left the one in Cheltenham and told her that even if I had fallen in love with a dress there, I would have asked Adele to source me one as I only want to buy from her. Her attention to detail and her attentiveness mixed with her cheerful ‘no pressure’ attitude is what made me fall in love with De Mariee Boutique - it just so happens she’s got some beautiful dresses in there too! I couldn’t recommend her enough and cannot thank her enough for everything she’s already done..

My first visit to De Mariee Boutique and fell in love with this place it's beautiful throughout and so relaxing! I didn't have an appointment but treated amazing! Adele knew exactly what was right for my figure and took into consideration our venue and being in the sunshine! Can't wait to return for an appointment already, thank you! xxx

I have just worked alongside Adele at De Mariee Boutique in arranging a dress fitting for a bride whose wedding I had the honour of planning. As a wedding planner, you get a unique insight into the bride's likes or dislikes and she was over the moon with how she was treated by Adele.

I found my dream dress in Adele's beautiful boutique. I tried many dresses in various bridal shops but couldn't find "the one". I came across Adele's shop online and drove there from Bristol. She has the most beautiful collection of bridal gowns in South West and Wales :-) I received a fantastic service and great advice form Adele, she helped me to pick the most stunning dress for my beach wedding. Had the most amazing experience trying on some beautiful dresses. Adele really made me feel like the princess every bride to be should feel like!! And to top it off, I found THE DRESS!!

De Marie Boutique is a beautiful and relaxing wedding boutique with a stunning handpicked selection of designer dresses. Adele is absolutely lovely and amazing at making each visit special. My third visit to the boutique today, so mother in law to be could see ‘the dress’, and Adele arranged for a beautiful cream tea and prosecco for us all, all this on top of her usual VIP treatment. Adele was amazing she knows her stuff and made me feel at ease. I’ve chosen a dress which I would never of gone for off the peg but i really had my eureka moment. Highly recommended if you want specialist personal service and stunning couture gowns this really is the place.
