We had a table booked for 9pm this evening, WOW is all Iā€™m going to say. The staff were brilliant and very attentive, the food was absolutely epic and the all round dining experience was outstanding.

Visited deadwood yesterday , my wife and I was extremely impressed with the food and the speed the food came out , staff were extremely friendly , the brisket was amazing even said was better than hickories ..... only thing Iā€™d of changed is a bigger pot of gravy but they filled the pot back up for me . Will certainly be visiting again

This place is an absolute gem. Four of us visited tonight. Venue is modern, friendly, relaxed and comfortable. Staff and service were faultless, general manager especially. Nothing was too much trouble. The food is outstanding, try everything!!!! So much choice, HUGE portions and well priced. Highly recommend the sharing platters, dirty fries and bbq pit beans and pulled pork - wear stretchy pants!!! Great chatting with Luke and Aiden and hearing about their plans. Good luck with your venture guys, will look out for you on Twitter, we will be back for another visit very soon!!

Staff are delightful, welcoming and attentive. No delay or waiting round for service at all. The food is absolutely to die for, I mean it's ridiculously delicious. And they definitely get extra points from me for letting me order donuts to take home ļæ½ļæ½ cannot recommend this establishment enough. Can't wait to come back!

Sometimes when you see a massive hype on Facebook, you go and are distinctly underwhelmed.



This was NOT one of those times. We got the Deadwood Platter between 2 of us there was LOTS of food and much meat, much perfectly cooked falling off the bone melt in your mouth meat. Everything we ate was excellent, nothing I'd have said could have been done better. Food was served faster than we ever expected even though it was busy. Layne who served us was passionate about the restaurant and the great food and couldn't have done more to welcome us. Will definitely be back. Thanks.

One of the best meals out Iā€™ve had in a long time! Great value for money, service was excellent, only downside is itā€™s quite small and tables close together but everything else more than made up for that! Will definitely be back, the brisket was to die for!

Made our first visit here tonight. It's rather more bijou than I'd expected - but well laid out to accommodate as many as possible. My only criticism is that the main was so filling that I couldn't try out the tempting sounding desserts. Excellent menu - I chose a burger meal, and hubby went for the long ribs. He thought he'd died and gone to heaven! A veritable mountain of meat. Our downfall was that we both upgraded to dirty fries, which are a meal in themselves - amazing combination of flavours, and top quality toppings. The service was also some of the best we'd found anywhere - very personal and relaxed, and right on top of everything. Thanks to Layne, who provided great service and made us feel very welcome.

I hit the place up on opening day and they did not disappoint! Seen a lot of stuff online before they opened and was super excited to try a 'Berniaise Flintstone burger' and the thing was absolutely delicious, meat slid off the bone with no hindrance and the house made slaw I'm assuming? Is awesome too! Had a side of sweet potato fries with maple syrup and crispy bacon bits and the we're pretty good too! Will 101% be going back soon!! Till next time.

Food was excellent. ... two children 4 & 6 both ate everything and staff were also very good ... we had quite a long wait as they were busy but they apologised and we had free deserts for 6 which were also excellent. .. not a big meat eater myself (everyone else is) but my Grilled Haloumi Salad was lovely and their onion rings are amazing ... Definitely highly recommend. ... Thank you to Jack who was serving us and took time to talk to the children .. Dirty Fries are a meal in themselves and anything you don't eat you can take home .. Well worth a visit ...

Excellent Food, Excellent attention to detail every dish coming off the pass was checked prior to coming out. Going to be a big hit in Mold this place is which is quite the compliment for anyone who knows the brilliant eateries in the town.

Didn't know what to expect from this place to be honest but......I've just had the best BBQ ribs I've ever had!!! Took my fiance for a birthday treat and it was outstanding!! Looking at the menu we thought maybe a bit overpriced but it was absolutely worth the money. We also got the cookie doughnuts to take away and they were Awesome!!

Brilliant addition to Mold! We loved everything about Deadwood; the staff were excellent (Caitlin looked after us exceedingly well and is a credit to Deadwood), the atmosphere was great, and the food exceptional. We had the steak, chicken waffle burger and a hog burger and I would order them all again. The wine was good quality and the desserts to die for. We look forward to being hungry enough to return!

I wanted to give some feedback on my most recent visit to your restaurant on Saturday 1st September.



Having visited the first week you opened with my friend I booked in again to show my boyfriend what a lovely, relaxed restaurant had just opened in Mold.



During my first visit the atmosphere was relaxed - my friend and I enjoyed lovely cocktails, attentive service and amazing food.



On the 1st my table was booked for 8:15, we arrived promptly to be told our table was not ready and to come back - I've worked as a restaurant manager myself so I am aware and appreciate that table timings can sometimes go over and I was more then happy wait outside for a few minutes until our table was ready however we did not get seated until 8:45. We were not the only ones told to wait for our table - there was a group of four also sat outside with us and a couple told to come back 20 minutes later. There was no chairs for them so they went and came back.



When we were seated within 2 minutes (we hadn't even looked at the starters) we were asked if we were ready to order, which we obviously wasn't. This rushed feeling lasted throughout our visit.



The waiter asked three times during our mains if we were finished - one time my boyfriend still had food in his mouth.



Once the mains were taken away we were offered dessert instantly and as we said no the waiter said "I'll get you the bill then yes?" We quickly finished our cocktails and left.



It was not the enjoyable experience I had the first time - and if this was my first visit I wouldn't be back, such a shame.

Honest personal review below, I can see many 5 star reviews which rate this place very highly.



Food & Drink 4/5 - The array of choice was brilliant but I found my burger to be quite dry and not very hot. I think more sauce on the burgers would also be more welcome.

The dirty fries however were piping hot and were delicious ļæ½



Venue 2/5 - The decor is very nice.

It is a very tight squeeze! No room between tables. We were sat right by the toilet/bar/serving hatch/store room therefore the people traffic at this side of the restaurant was very hectic and not very relaxing. I donā€™t think I would be happy visiting again unless we requested one of the window tables (the only tables I felt wouldnā€™t feel like you were on top of everyone).



There seemed to be so many members of staff for the size of the place, which also made the place feel very cramped.



Iā€™m sure some of my above points are the consequence of not being open long and Iā€™m sure will improve with time. However the cramped seating lets the place down in my opinion.



If youā€™re not worried about being quite close to other tables and youā€™re after a quick tasty meal then this place is great. If youā€™re after somewhere relaxed to spend a whole evening with food and plenty of drinks I donā€™t think this is the best place in Mold to go.

Arrived 5 min early to be told that we would have to wait an extra 10min on top of our reserved time as they were running a little late. Perfectly fine as itā€™s a new place in a small town and packed to the rafters. Once seated we waited about 15 min to be served for drinks when another couple were welcomed and seated next to us. They were seen to straight away and everything arrived before our order despite the waitress taking our orders first before returning for the couple sat next to us. This was a tad frustrating as they hadnā€™t been asked to come back in 15 minutes like ourselves. The quality of the food is good and portions are generous! My only gripe with the place itā€™s self is the size of the restaurant and the seating capacity. Everything is so crammed in to such a small area, even the toilets donā€™t have their own sinks and dryers. Background music was an acquired taste the night we went but who doesnā€™t like a few home boys from Compton effin and jeffin about the streets while you tuck into your main course. For anyone wondering how this compares to Just Steak you canā€™t really compare them. This place is like a jack of all trades for meat dishes as with most franchised businesses (still good food though).Just Steak is more pinpoint on its meat dishes with it being independent and quality is higher as a result. All in all a nice place to eat and a welcome addition to Mold but I wouldnā€™t book a table bigger than 6 with the size of the place.

I wanted to give some feedback on my most recent visit to your restaurant on Saturday 1st September.



Having visited the first week you opened with my friend I booked in again to show my boyfriend what a lovely, relaxed restaurant had just opened in Mold.



During my first visit the atmosphere was relaxed - my friend and I enjoyed lovely cocktails, attentive service and amazing food.



On the 1st my table was booked for 8:15, we arrived promptly to be told our table was not ready and to come back - I've worked as a restaurant manager myself so I am aware and appreciate that table timings can sometimes go over and I was more then happy wait outside for a few minutes until our table was ready however we did not get seated until 8:45. We were not the only ones told to wait for our table - there was a group of four also sat outside with us and a couple told to come back 20 minutes later. There was no chairs for them so they went and came back.



When we were seated within 2 minutes (we hadn't even looked at the starters) we were asked if we were ready to order, which we obviously wasn't. This rushed feeling lasted throughout our visit.



The waiter asked three times during our mains if we were finished - one time my boyfriend still had food in his mouth.



Once the mains were taken away we were offered dessert instantly and as we said no the waiter said "I'll get you the bill then yes?" We quickly finished our cocktails and left.



It was not the enjoyable experience I had the first time - and if this was my first visit I wouldn't be back, such a shame.

Deadwood Smokehouse is a welcome addition to Mold already successful restaurants and eateries.



Honest personal review below, I can see many 5 star reviews which rate this place very highly.



Food & Drink 4/5 - The array of choice was brilliant but I found my burger to be quite dry and not very hot. I think more sauce on the burgers would also be more welcome.

The dirty fries however were piping hot and were delicious ļæ½



Venue 2/5 - The decor is very nice.

It is a very tight squeeze! No room between tables. We were sat right by the toilet/bar/serving hatch/store room therefore the people traffic at this side of the restaurant was very hectic and not very relaxing. I donā€™t think I would be happy visiting again unless we requested one of the window tables (the only tables I felt wouldnā€™t feel like you were on top of everyone).



There seemed to be so many members of staff for the size of the place, which also made the place feel very cramped.



Iā€™m sure some of my above points are the consequence of not being open long and Iā€™m sure will improve with time. However the cramped seating lets the place down in my opinion.



If youā€™re not worried about being quite close to other tables and youā€™re after a quick tasty meal then this place is great. If youā€™re after somewhere relaxed to spend a whole evening with food and plenty of drinks I donā€™t think this is the best place in Mold to go.

Arrived 5 min early to be told that we would have to wait an extra 10min on top of our reserved time as they were running a little late. Perfectly fine as itā€™s a new place in a small town and packed to the rafters. Once seated we waited about 15 min to be served for drinks when another couple were welcomed and seated next to us. They were seen to straight away and everything arrived before our order despite the waitress taking our orders first before returning for the couple sat next to us. This was a tad frustrating as they hadnā€™t been asked to come back in 15 minutes like ourselves. The quality of the food is good and portions are generous! My only gripe with the place itā€™s self is the size of the restaurant and the seating capacity. Everything is so crammed in to such a small area, even the toilets donā€™t have their own sinks and dryers. Background music was an acquired taste the night we went but who doesnā€™t like a few home boys from Compton effin and jeffin about the streets while you tuck into your main course. For anyone wondering how this compares to Just Steak you canā€™t really compare them. This place is like a jack of all trades for meat dishes as with most franchised businesses (still good food though).Just Steak is more pinpoint on its meat dishes with it being independent and quality is higher as a result. All in all a nice place to eat and a welcome addition to Mold but I wouldnā€™t book a table bigger than 6 with the size of the place.

We travelled from Old Colwyn to eat here and was blown away. ļæ½. Great atmosphere, brilliant service, and the food was outstanding. I was so excited to go here and was not disappointed. Well worth the trip and will definitely be returning. Thankyou. Xxx

We had a table booked for 9pm this evening, WOW is all Iā€™m going to say. The staff were brilliant and very attentive, the food was absolutely epic and the all round dining experience was outstanding.

We will definitely be back!!!!!

Visited deadwood yesterday , my wife and I was extremely impressed with the food and the speed the food came out , staff were extremely friendly , the brisket was amazing even said was better than hickories ..... only thing Iā€™d of changed is a bigger pot of gravy but they filled the pot back up for me . Will certainly be visiting again

This place is an absolute gem. Four of us visited tonight. Venue is modern, friendly, relaxed and comfortable. Staff and service were faultless, general manager especially. Nothing was too much trouble. The food is outstanding, try everything!!!! So much choice, HUGE portions and well priced. Highly recommend the sharing platters, dirty fries and bbq pit beans and pulled pork - wear stretchy pants!!! Great chatting with Luke and Aiden and hearing about their plans. Staff are delightful, welcoming and attentive. No delay or waiting round for service at all. The food is absolutely to die for, I mean it's ridiculously delicious. And they definitely get extra points from me for letting me order donuts to take home ļæ½ļæ½ cannot recommend this establishment enough. Can't wait to come back!

Sometimes when you see a massive hype on Facebook, you go and are distinctly underwhelmed.



This was NOT one of those times. We got the Deadwood Platter between 2 of us there was LOTS of food and much meat, much perfectly cooked falling off the bone melt in your mouth meat. Everything we ate was excellent, nothing I'd have said could have been done better. Food was served faster than we ever expected even though it was busy. Layne who served us was passionate about the restaurant and the great food and couldn't have done more to welcome us. Will definitely be back. Thanks.

One of the best meals out Iā€™ve had in a long time! Great value for money, service was excellent, only downside is itā€™s quite small and tables close together but everything else more than made up for that! Will definitely be back, the brisket was to die for!

Made our first visit here tonight. It's rather more bijou than I'd expected - but well laid out to accommodate as many as possible. My only criticism is that the main was so filling that I couldn't try out the tempting sounding desserts. Excellent menu - I chose a burger meal, and hubby went for the long ribs. He thought he'd died and gone to heaven! A veritable mountain of meat. Our downfall was that we both upgraded to dirty fries, which are a meal in themselves - amazing combination of flavours, and top quality toppings. The service was also some of the best we'd found anywhere - very personal and relaxed, and right on top of everything. Thanks to Layne, who provided great service and made us feel very welcome.

I hit the place up on opening day and they did not disappoint! Seen a lot of stuff online before they opened and was super excited to try a 'Berniaise Flintstone burger' and the thing was absolutely delicious, meat slid off the bone with no hindrance and the house made slaw I'm assuming? Is awesome too! Had a side of sweet potato fries with maple syrup and crispy bacon bits and the we're pretty good too! Will 101% be going back soon!! Till next time.

We meet the two owners the manager and the amazing Katelyn all made the effort to talk to us

The food was to die for and for the quality and service it wasnā€™t too expensive

Food was excellent. ... two children 4 & 6 both ate everything and staff were also very good ... we had quite a long wait as they were busy but they apologised and we had free deserts for 6 which were also excellent. .. not a big meat eater myself (everyone else is) but my Grilled Haloumi Salad was lovely and their onion rings are amazing ... Definitely highly recommend. ... Thank you to Jack who was serving us and took time to talk to the children .. Dirty Fries are a meal in themselves and anything you don't eat you can take home .. Well worth a visit ...

Fantastic place to eat. Friendly, pleasant staff and a delicious meal. So much choice on the menu will be returning to work my way through the menu!! Laine who served us was chatty and fun without being intrusive.

Excellent Food, Excellent attention to detail every dish coming off the pass was checked prior to coming out. Going to be a big hit in Mold this place is which is quite the compliment for anyone who knows the brilliant eateries in the town.

Didn't know what to expect from this place to be honest but......I've just had the best BBQ ribs I've ever had!!! Took my fiance for a birthday treat and it was outstanding!! Looking at the menu we thought maybe a bit overpriced but it was absolutely worth the money. We also got the cookie doughnuts to take away and they were Awesome!!

Brilliant addition to Mold! We loved everything about Deadwood; the staff were excellent (Caitlin looked after us exceedingly well and is a credit to Deadwood), the atmosphere was great, and the food exceptional. We had the steak, chicken waffle burger and a hog burger and I would order them all again. The wine was good quality and the desserts to die for. We look forward to being hungry enough to return!
