Took me back to my childhood .. and I can still skate bonus

User

The staff are friendly, the ice is usually fantastic, and the hours are mostly good.

User

Really friendly & helpful staff great place

User

Quiet hour in the morning spent with my hubby & sons, great time to go. There are good facilities there and the staff are great.

User

My kids age 9 and 11 absolutely love going to the skatepark with their scooters. Great value for money at £5.50 for 3 hours. Seating is a bit uncomfortable and viewing window is always dirty, other than that excellent for any aged child.

User

My daughter had an ice skating party here yesterday. She LOVED it, as did all of her friends. The staff (especially the party host Jody) were fantastic. I took 9 girls and only 2 could independently skate - at least 4 were terrified of falling. By the end of the party they were all skating independently and having a really good time. Thank you! x

User

Just had Pilates with Louise and I thought she was absolutely amazing, I’d definitely recommend!!

User

I take my boys to use the skate park. They are aged 8, 9 and 11,and they love it . £5.50 for a three hour session. We usually go to the Sunday morning slot 10¬1, it seems quieter. There is also a junior slot. 9¬10am for under 8's. The ramps are challenging enough for skaters of all ages. The other users seem to be a tolerant accepting bunch. One boy loaned his Alan keys to my eldest to tighten a loose wheel. The cafe is reasonably priced. We've also over ice skated there. It's a great centre. I just wish it was closer to where we live,

User

Have been skating since the early 80s love it even though I don’t think the atmosphere is the same but that might be age my grandson of 12 loves it and is there as often as he can be long live Deeside ice rink

User

Friendly staff always do their best to help. Being at a disability session proves that staff and everyone works together to bring enjoyment and happiness to people's lives . A big thankyou for organising these events and everyone involved keep having fun no matter what your age is .

User

Another fantastic day at the ice rink with my family.... we also stayed again for the disability session where we volunteered our services again to help out. Fantastic support during this session to allow everyone the opportunity to skate regardless of their disability. Well organised event and lovely to see the smiles on the children's faces

User

Amazing rink. The only one within 60 miles close enough to me!. Only thing I was disappointed with, was the amount of figure skaters that were patch skating in a public session. It made my friends nervous and they got in the way. I'm a hockey skater, I use the public sessions to be able to have a good whizz around. People shouldn't be having to avoid patch skaters and their coaches in a public session. Other than that we had an amazing time. Al's skate shop was awesome too, had my blades sharpened within 15 minutes so was able to get on the ice while it was still in mint condition.

User

Went to the Ice Hockey game for the first time in years. Great game and great facilities there

User

We had a great day yesterday at family disco 14 of us for my son's birthday. Disappointed that I was refused a refund on my asd son ticket as he never wanted to skate of a rude receptionist

User

Nice facility but unbelievably had no card payment availability for the ice hockey facility. This was compounded by the lack of cash point in the building and the nearest being 100 yards up the road. Sound system in rink was a bit quiet and inaudible

User

Enjoyed the disco on ice, bit on the expensive side so i can’t afford to go too often. Only thing I disliked a lot was the screens they have up for the ice hockey, I seen quite a few people trying to grab on to the sides but struggled to hold on to the little ledge.

User

Went to watch ice hockey match yesterday, the leisure centre looked great seemed to have lots there to do cafe, library, skate park and ice rink was quite impressed, first toilet went to use in reception neither cubicle had toilet roll (ladies toilets) when asked was told to use another toilet. Went down to ice rink and went to ladies toilet before long journey home to walk into toilet and was greeted with the most disgusting smell of urine the toilets are disgusting I felt quite sick think the staff seriously need to get this looked and disinfected!!! Shocking to think they are for public use let yourselves down there Deeside

User

Poor value for money..... kids bored.... too many people on the ice, not enough penguins to hire out for younger children.... too many people going fast.... just an accident waiting to happen

User

After accidentally walking into the stinky men's toilets I went into the ladies. One toilet was available which was filled to the brim with wee, toilet tissue and a nice orangy brown poo sitting on top. Tried another ladies- out of order. Then eventually found another (all only my own as there was no one round to ask).

Reception staff friendly.

Overall a bit grubby which is a shame.
