Rhinophyma is a condition causing overdevelopment of the oil-producing glands of the nose, producing a thickened and red bulbous appearance.
It can be due to untreated rosacea, but this is not always the case. It is almost exclusively seen in men although rarely, women can be affected.

These pictures were taken *immediately* before and after the lip filler treatment. This was achieved by using 1ml of lip filler (top and bottom).
The aim was to give some lift and reduce the asymmetry of the lips and we achieved that by injecting slightly different amounts in each side and to balance the lips overall. The client wanted enough volume so that the lips 'looked naturally pouty without looking ridiculous'.
We will take some more pictures to show the finished effe...ct once the lips have completely settled down and the swelling has subsided.

Lip filler is not as simple as some people tend to think. Plus, not everybody wants the 'Pete Burns' or the 'Leslie Ash' look (note: it is a personal preference on their part), so therefore there has to be a middle ground.
Generally, unless the client wants a large pout or otherwise, has very large lips that will accommodate a large volume of lip filler, we would advocate the middle ground.
This is what we have coined the 'Zen' of lip filler. Not too much, not too little. ...Sometimes, less is more as they say. Not always, just sometimes.

Tear trough filler is one of the more technically difficult procedures especially due to the proximity of blood vessels and ocular structures.
We, cannot stress more the importance of having delicate treatments such as these performed by experienced clinicians. This is not something that you would want to go wrong.
As you can see, the picture on the left is much smoother and there is no bulging. We are trying to make the area as flat as possible whilst maintaining the nor...mal facial contours.
