Derwydd Mansion Estate and its unique Grade 2* listed 15th Century mansion is the perfect backdrop for your perfect day or special occasion.

Derwydd Mansion is a family run venue where guests are made to feel welcome and relaxed at once.

The mansion and grounds are surrounded by farmland and hills, typical of the beautiful Welsh countryside.

The extensive grounds and gardens have plenty of areas to explore, including a walk through approx. 1 acre of woodland to a peaceful “painting lawn” where the stunning Carreg Cennen Castle can be seen between the valleys. The Estate also has its own fresh spring water supply as well as a listed sundial. Guests will be free to explore the grounds and the opportunity for photos should not be missed.

As well as extensive gardens, the Mansion House is home to original Jacobean mantelpieces with 15th Century fireplaces. The wall frieze of early Tudor origins contains the Arms of Sir Rhys ap Thomas, together with the Tudor Rose and there are also impressive original ceiling visible in the oldest part of the House. A grand pitch pine staircase, Victorian conservatory, stained glass windows and original furniture and painting can also be seen as you step back in time through this beautiful house. Tours of the house can be arranged as part of the package.
