"The artist spent much of last summer high up in the wild Cambrian mountains of Ceredigion, clad in a fluffy white fleece and crawling on all fours...... 'I wanted to challenge the assumptions and misconceptions about sheep and the Welsh uplands, both of which are central to Wales' heritage and identity. The cliche is that the uplands are simply sheep grazing hills, but this landscape is far more important'..."

some VERY VERY STEEP STEPS AND SLIPPERY BRIDGE!! nice falls but would NOT have gone had I realised how steep and slippery these steps and walk was. definitely NOT for the faint hearted, one woman turned back as she was scared. One of the steepest walks to a waterfall I have been on... and I have visited many all over the world!

User

Went later in the afternoon.. around 4-ish by which stage, not many people were around. No need to ask people to move on or get out of your photos as I only saw another family of 4 within the whole time scale of walking. Be sure to wear proper walking boots and prepare yourself for very steep step (both walking down and up the mountain) but plenty of opportunities to stop, listen and admire our beautiful nation. Be sure to visit in cafe opposite for a well earned drink/meal.

Travelled for 2 hours to get here and it did not disappoint.

The gentleman at the entrance gate was very friendly and informative. The moment we entered it felt like we had walked into a piece of paradise. Glorious flowers, shrubs and trees every where, and then you spot the magnificent waterfalls. You follow the pathway round which is steep and hard work at times (lots of steps) and then you hear the rumble of the falls and see up close how amazing Mother Nature is. We will be back as I imagine itŌĆÖs glorious in the Autumn.

User

Terrifying! But amazing views , if you donŌĆÖt mind heights . Beautiful, managed to take some amazing photos . Well worth a visit

User

Stunning scenery, a must for a visit

So relaxing and peaceful by the water falls

User

It's steep .... it gives new meaning to steep! The waterfalls were fantastic .... it is so worth a visit. But it's steep! I had to carry my dog in parts as the steps were too narrow and too steep for him to cope - and sometimes too high on the way back up.

Really enjoyed the day out!

User

It's a fantastic place to visit and when we went it had been raining so the waterfalls were full and roaring and were very imposing. The path and steps are extremely steep and quite hazardous and muddy with puddles in bad weather, so if you have mobility problems it might not be for you, also it might be difficult for small children, but it is worth it.

User

I took a spin from Llandeilo up through Builth Wells and then the Elam Valley Dams. Basically to take photographs. The Dams were spectacular, I took the mountain road to the Devil's Falls and was not disappointed. Turbulent water and three bridges is indeed unique. Well worth the visit and I have the photographs to prove it.

User

I havenŌĆÖt been to Devils Bridge since I was very young, and I made an impulsive stop as I was passing this weekend. The ticket booth attendant was kind and amusing, he even laughed at my joke!

The ŌĆślong walkŌĆÖ to view the waterfalls was an adventure! Even in the rain... the autumn colours, a friendly robin and the roaring waterfalls far exceeded my expectations. I had my heart in my mouth on Jacobs Ladder and I was drenched by the time I reached the top again!

IŌĆÖll be back in the springtime and summer to see more wildlife, bird life and the fabulous colours of the rhododendrons.

I am short, extremely overweight, bad knees, terrified of heights and edges, but I did it! I cried at the end with the sense of achievement. It is a long way down, seemed twice as long coming back up but the beauty was well worth the pain.........for the next few days.

User

First visited this place in 1970 on a school trip and is one of my most favourite places in Wales

User

Every inch a true beauty, fantastic for all the family including the dog xx

User

Did both walks today the water fall and the punch bowl we were told that the waterfall was fine for dogs. We took our 2 Springer and omg itŌĆÖs was not great lol. The walk itŌĆÖs self was amazing and well worth it but if you have dogs and they pull on a leads I would say leave them at home xx

User

User

Beautiful place , loved the nature trail.

User

Awesome place, hidden pearl , a must see for any nature lover.

User

Absolutely stunning views, we did the longer walk, lots of steep steps, my 3 year old walked the whole walk and loved it, definitely not wheelchair or buggy friendly, but my friend carried his 8 mth old, she was happy all the way round. We took our time, stopped a lot to admire the spectacular views, had a picnic, it was muddy, but we had had rain the night before. It's definitely worth it. Lovely walk with stunning views.

User

Was well worth the visit. Thoroughly enjoyed the long walk as you see a lot more and the waterfall is beautiful . The steps are very steep in some places so you have to walk with care did feel a little exuasted by the end but there is a Hotel and a Cafe at the end if you need to rest and have some refreshments.

User

This was well worth the visit and the cost to enter to walk round the circular route was well worth it. The views were fantastic and managed some fabulous photos. I managed to walk around with my dog and she managed the steps easily, maybe a smaller dog may need some assistance. Well worth a visit
