I'm fully ensconced in my little bubble of learning to smock at the moment (this is a current dress sleeve I'm stitching) - so I'm completely thrilled that Christine of @houseofsmocking is joining us to run a workshop here on Saturday November 3rd. A day's hands-on workshop running from 9.30 to 4.30 and including a light lunch. Beginners sewing skills would be of benefit but not completely necessary. I've had a lovely day today booking in some interesting workshops, the next of which is this completely fascinating intro to essential oils held by @rews_apothecary on July 3rd. On meeting Rew a couple of weeks ago I was blown away by her passion for healing, taking care of each other and ourselves the natural way, and happiness. She gave me a little bottle of Wild orange essential oil (which is proven to help with stress and anxiety) and it's been invaluable to our whole ho...usehold in times of horrible exams and whatnot.
