We spent a good few hours in there on Saturday night just gone. Just their second weekend of being open, and it was excellent. It looks nice, staff are nice. Best of all, the beer and cider selection is fantastic Lots of interesting and high quality local beer/cider that is really tasty. Live music was a nice bonus. All round an excellent experience. Will be going back.

Popped in for a beer last night. A fantastic selection of real ales and ciders and really friendly bar staff. A great addition to Caerleon.

Just spent a few hours with friends and our children at the Dog House. Great afternoon. Staff amazingly friendly, the children got to taste the non-alcoholic drinks just like the adults got to sample the real ales and ciders. Games for the children to play with. Great atmosphere. Great range of drinks. Great staff. We’ll be back!!! Looking forward to coffee, cakes and food too!

Great stuff!! With a best case/worse case scenario occurring on the opening night with bus loads of rugby players in town it was very very chaotic and busy. Factor in the usual opening night teething problems and you are in for a stressful time.... But the bar staff coped fantasticslly, beers were all in good nick, gins and wine lovely too. Great atmosphere and looks like a fantastic edition to Caerleon.
