Dolen Cymru Craft Collective

Handmade crafts made in Lesotho and Wales.

We are a not-for-profit craft collective selling handmade goods from Wales and our twin country Lesotho in Southern Africa. We work in conjunction with Lesotho Mountain Crafts, a co-operative that is run by members of Action Lesotho who are affected by HIV and AIDS. Lesotho has one of the highest HIV rates in the world, a life expectancy of 48 years and a poverty rate so high that it has some people calling it a “fourth world country”. By creating a market in Wales for the wonderful products made by Basotho craftspeople we all can help alleviate poverty and malnutrition by helping sustain self-sufficient projects.
