Dovey Inn

Great staff and fantastic rooms for the price. Complimentary breakfast was very nice and room's facilities were perfect.

It's not a 5 star hotel, but the level of customer care and attention to detail practiced by the Dovey, could be the envy of many top chain hotels. The food, though simple was well cooked and the servings were of a very generous size.

A nice pub well located on the sea front. We were impressed by the selection of ales, although the food was very much pub grub. The staff were friendly and the prices were reasonable. Rooms were also available to book. We ate on a Sunday when other places in the town were closed. There was a decent selection of food and specials available, not just Sunday roasts. We'd definitely come back.

A decent pint of bitter with average food. It is typical pub grub but with good service. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They serve food all day on a Sunday which is a bonus. Would go back.

The staff were friendly and very welcoming to both our baby and our friend's dog. We had drinks and I had a slice of cake. The cake was nice and on offer with my hot drink. My wife has a coffee which she said was lovely. Our friends had a tea and a beer and also were pleased with those. Overall it was a nice pub with a pleasant atmosphere. Would happily recommend it to others.

Worst lunch ever had! Staff wasn't polite. Old food served it seems. Warning note to customers! We wasted money. Didn't eat at all!

Great food and staff, and a good policy for allowing dogs, however there may have been a few too many at one point and it got a bit load but soon calmed, overall good experience.
