Went to celebrate daughters birthday. Lovely food served quickly by friendly, helpful staff. Would definitely recommend!!

Visited DPL last night for the wine and tapas evening. Had a great time. Both food and wine went down a treat and excellent value for money. 😊👍

The food was presented well and was lovely and hot. Was with a party of 8 and we all left stuffed! Thank you to the staff for great service too 🙂

Had a really great night at the Wine Tasting night last night. The tapas and wines were excellent. Especially loved the prawns and bruschetta.

7 of us went last night for cocktails - lovely! We ended up going back later instead of going for a pub crawl! We will be going back - the gin menu looked very interesting. The gentleman who was serving us was really pleasant

Went Tues eve with friends and had the tapas deal - 6 tapas plus 2 drinks for £15. Great deal. Good selection of dishes, well presented and good sized portions. Drinks available were house wines, lager or soft drink. It's a popular place so recommend booking in advance.

Only criticism was that the young waitress was a bit too keen pushing us to have cocktails. I prefer to make my own mind up and not have someone in my face while I'm deciding. Other than that, all good

Went to DPL for 2 meals, starter and mains. Table service and starter was perfect. Ordered steak and chips well done for mains. Cut into steak to find it was in fact rare. Waitress apologised and sent it back. While waiting I have eaten the chips so now had none with my meat but I wasn't too fussed. Then the same piece of meat came back and this time was medium when I've originally asked for well done. Meat was sent back with my onion rings for the second time and the same piece of meat came back well done and all chewy so wasn't able to eat the whole piece and the onion rings cold. I feel the meal was ruined due to not being able to eat all items together with cold onion rings which did get replaced at the end. Was offered a discount which was around £3/£4 which I don't feel was adequate for the inconvenience and £46 bill. I've eaten at DPL many times and had many great meals but I am now undecided if I would go back.

Myself and partener was coming back from a day out,and we just fancied a roast dinner. So we decided to go to DPL. I had a roast beef and the other half had steak roast. The Yorkshire pudding and the roast potatoes were hard like they were been stood there all afternoon and the cabbage was areful. Then we had sticky toffee pudding which was lush but the custard was warm. Was so gutted as we have been here befor abd the foid was spot on. Staff were very warm and very welcome

Got a food discount voucher from locked in nearby. Friendly staff and helpful, food a reasonable price but not amazing. Burger was great but chips undercooked.

We were given a present by a friend of a two course Sunday lunch @departure lounge abergele. It was a lovely thoughtful gift. Just a shame the DPL let themselves down badly. Because we were on a voucher our meals were a lot smaller than the ones on the next table that were paying, my hubby had soup for starters that was barely warm and the bread was more like a rock. Yorkshire pudding half the size Of the other table and rock hard. When we mentioned the bread we got that must be the old stuff and as she walked off we got a not very meaningful sorry. But it was never mentioned again. I was really disappointed by the waiting staff and it should not make any difference if you are on a groupon voucher or not you still still receive the same service and meal as every one else

Struggling to think of something positive to even out the review. In fairness we did book last minute but if the booking couldn’t be accommodated then they shouldn’t have taken it. It was NYE and there was a planned ‘event’ on for the night but even so staff appeared to care not one little bit about customers who were in the restaurant prior to the event starting. On arriving we were told we had to leave in 2 hours... slightly rude but fair enough (we weren’t told this on booking!) * we booked for 4.45 and the evening event hadn’t started!



Staff... couldn’t be bothered. Stood at bar eating and drinking. Had to ask many times for drinks and condiments and sauce for chicken... sauce eventually came but chicken was half eaten as it would have gone cold. We were never asked if the food was ok or had any warmth. The waitress was rude and the young bar staff looked thoroughly bored!



Bruschetta was sun dried tomatoes on soggy bread. Garlic bread was cold. The child’s fish was over cooked and was mainly batter. The Cajun salmon and Cajun chicken was just powder on top! Food was like warm!



Service was bad and food was just about edible!
