I’m back!!! I have found a gym I want to spend my time in more than at home. (Sorry @fiona28lockett😂) Cheeky little bit of accessory work going down. Literally the warmest gym in the world. These gyms I absolutely hate but needs must when you’re working weird ass hours. But I found a @wolversonfit bar and needed to do some technique work to keep me sharp. The amount of runners I have seen today around Cardiff is insane. I can understand getting out for fresh air but to aimlessly run around and for some people go at walking pace puzzles me. There are thousands of ways you can get fit without for some people punishing yourself by running for hours. If you love it then that’s great but there are several ways you can get fit without pounding the treadmill or roads for hours. This is something I say to everyone I meet who asks ...about getting fit, Training shouldn’t be seen as punishing yourself because you ate this and that training is a privilege and should be seen as a way to make a healthier version of you. So please if you hate running please do your research, ask your questions because there are people in the world who are happy to answer them or give up their time for you. Eat smart, train smart. When you’re 33 and the best shape you have ever been in it’s going to be down to hard work, drive and the desire to be the best. Ronaldo continually proves this, you cannot get to his level without the work he has put in. If you want to be the best you have to put the work in.
Someone who is accountable is completely responsible for what they do and must be able to give a satisfactory reason for it. In light of the recent PEDs being used in CrossFit and 14 athletes being found using them I think like the majority of people in sport who aims to be clean it gets to a point when you question why. So as I am on prescribed steroids of Hydrocortisone and Fludrocortisone because if my condition it is my responsibility to make a governing body aware and ch...eck whether I can compete. At the end of the day athletes post all over their social media about eating clean and only using the best supplements for post workout but then don’t think about the medical side and then end up blaming their doctor. It’s a shame that sport is still and always will PEDs and unfortunately with the need to win so high now those extra kilos and seconds are the difference between being a winner and a loser. But it’s now hard to look at people and think I want to be like that person as they may be one of those PED users and as result tainted the industry.

This is what happens when you’re persistent and determined to get something. I’ve been doing CrossFit for nearly 2 years and I most definitely do not have a gymnastics background so for me this is a massive result and keeps that fire burning. Desire and determination can take you as far as you want to go
