What we believe in. Education is the heart of society, which is why it almost always suffers the blame wherever there may be failings within an economy. But for many, such a convenient scapegoat does not exist – it is a luxury they cannot afford. And without access to education, they are limited to lives of poverty and hardship. As recorded by The World Bank (2017), more than 50% of the world population live on less than $2 a day. "Everyone has a right to education. Education shall be free, at least in the elementary stages. Elementary education shall be compulsory. Technical and professional education shall be made generally available, and higher education shall be equally accessible to all on the basis of merit. Education shall be directed to the full development of the human personality and to the strengthening of respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms. "— Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1948), Adopted by the United Nations, Article 26Our GoalsEducation Aid aims to provide, and support, education where there is a lack thereof. This would include enhancing quality of schooling and provisioning for English, Mathematics, Science and Religious Education providers at the elementary stages as well as pushing to create availability for further and higher education in developing countries. This is no easy task because it means getting involved in the most volatile parts of the world where violence, disease, hunger, thirst and inequality are prevalent. But that's all the more reason why education is important and why your support is needed. Education is a powerful force for building upon the diplomatic principles and values that these developing countries struggle to maintain. Principles and values such as human rights, equality, impartial justice, freedom of speech and religion as well as acceptance of different racial and ethnic identities which can be enforced through education.
