Emilie Parry-Williams - Classical Soprano

Emilie Parry-Williams is a Welsh Classical Soprano; based in Monmouthshire, she specialises in operatic and musical theatre repertoire.

Emilie is a classical soprano from Monmouthshire. She has been singing since she was 5 years old, and one of her most earliest memories is winning her first singing competition at her school Eisteddfod aged 6, performing Mi Welais Jac-y- do, (a Welsh childrens song). Emilie performed as much as possible in school plays and drama programmes throughout her childhood, and at 16 Emilie studied on a National Diploma Performing Arts course in South Wales, achieving three Distinctions and played a lead role in several of their Musical performances.

Emilie graduated with First-Class Bachelor of Music degree with Honours in July 2018, from City University of London. She has Postgraduate Diploma in Classical Voice from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, having graduated from the one year intensive programme in September 2019.
Emilie’s favourite aria’s to sing are ‘Signore Ascolta’ from Puccini’s Turandot, and ‘I Could Have Danced All Night’ from Lerner & Lowe’s My Fair Lady.
Emilie was accepted on to the Glyndebourne Academy course of 2017, spending a weeks residence at Glyndebourne performing and training, and performed at Glyndebourne in November 2017; subsequently, she was awarded the Bill Weston Young Singers Award in 2018, from Glyndebourne Opera House.
Following her graduation from the Royal Welsh College in 2019, Emilie was accepted on to the European Opera Academy scheme, at the Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini in Florence, Italy. Emilie spent three months there from September to December 2019, learning Italian language and studying Bel Canto and Italian Operatic singing techniques.
