Empowering Children Programme C.I.C

Our missionWe are a non-profit organisation whose main goal is to create a network of In School and After School Clubs that will promote the empowerment of children by encouraging them to actively participate in the construction of their personal and social identities, by means of extra-curricular experiences (clubs)We aim to offer the children a range of activities plus a safe, friendly environment where they can just "chill out". We will promote the participation of volunteers in the activities. We address issues related to the USE OF ENGLISH (1st or 2nd language)We follow the Children and Young People's PARTICIPATION STANDARDS for Wales (as established by the Welsh Assembly). We follow the PSE (Personal and Social Education Framework) for schools in Wales. We offer volunteer opportunities. We offer training for our staff and volunteers. We establish ways of cooperation with other community groups. There are childcare services available when requested. We are members of Wales' Third Sector Council C3SC and Clybiau Plant Cymru.
