Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Hired twice from there enterprise now. Really happy the staff are great. And vehicles are great too👍

Having hired from Newport on previous occasions, all members of staff are very welcoming, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable and the whole process is extremely efficient and painless.

I did the booking on the phone to request a wider selection of vehicles as another company had recently palmed me off with what would be regarded an inferior vehicle in the hiring class.

On this occasion, it worked out well with a good selection to choose from on the day. I enjoyed the vehicle and extended the hire (again, painlessly!) after the initial period and will be hiring again in the next few weeks.

I booked the vehicle using the Enterprise app. For a pick up an hour hence.

Unfortunately I was greeted with an extremely hostile attitude at the branch, with disbelief on their part that I should expect a vehicle at such short notice. I pointed out that the app had allowed the booking, (which they acknowledged as it had generated a reservation at the branch) and the problem might be with their system.

I was then in no unceremonious way told it was in fact my problem as I needed a vehicle. I was at this point further harangued by an individual I took to be the branch manager who made no attempt to placate the situation and simply stated that it was my problem.

They then stated that I might be able to get a vehicle in a few hours and they’d ring around...having waited in a rather uncomfortable silence for half an or so a vehicle was miraculously found and a very polite and courteous young lady, who had just arrived, completed my rental agreement and showed me round the car.

I was frankly shocked at the attitude I had encountered with no attempt what so ever to see my point of view. In fact I had to desecalate this entire sorry episode in order to get some semblance of service ... apart from the one bright light this business has been entirely let down by a couple of inadequately trained and rude individuals.

All staff were extremely friendly. I had to wait a short while during the time the car was cleaned, however it was a short wait and all 3 staff members took the time to speak to me while I was waiting.
Very easy process and would definitely consider renting a car again.

Truly excellent service. Van I rented was perfect for the job. Rental price was competitive. I will definitely be using these again!

They wasn't able rent me a van because Im fail some check for insurance reasons . They don't know explain me what's reason. I never had any accident or something similar. Same day rent van from another rental company with out problem. Avoid this company ..

Great service received! Had a great trip with the car and the service from the team was very good. First time renting I got explained all details and noone seemed bothered by my questions. Will rent here again!
