This was our test head! We set this up in Feb 2017,,,, nearly 2 years on the head is still running! We are running it until it dies but at the moment it’s out on loan doing its thing , “just working”! There are pro’s and con’s on all the tools on the market, but no one can deny that this is a quality lateral burr head! A genuine Equilight head fitted with a coarse Vex disk. Hopefully from the pic you can see the conVEX shape of the disk.
This disk is perfect for routine removal of sharp enamel overgrowths and the Vex shape allows the disk to glide over the cusps. Notice the grease nipple just under the disk. This placement ensure grease travels through the bearings and into the gears where it is needed. As with all Equilight tools it is designed to last!
