Erw Goed Cottages Description
Two self catering cottages on beekeepers' smallholding. Free-range ducks and chickens. Sometimes pigs. Eggs, logs, honey and beeswax products available on site.
Hen Feudy sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms: double, twin and single. Wood burner. Fully enclosed, large garden.
Hen Stabl sleeps 4 in one bedroom: double with bunk beds in one room, sofa bed in open plan living room as an alternative if required. Open fire. Small private, unfenced garden.
Pets welcome in both cottages but please be aware there are free-range birds around and sheep in neighbouring fields.
Close to Mawddach Estuary and the Mawddach Trail, sandy beaches at Fairbourne and Barmouth, Cader Idris and Cregennan Lakes, and the Market town of Dolgellau.

The gulls are not usually this noisy here They must be missing the crowds on the beach and have ventured inland to look for them. Thanks for staying away and me and the gulls look forward to welcoming you back when it's safe.
It's very quiet here without our usual Summer visitors.
If you're planning a visit to Dolgellau this Summer, the Dolgellau Pollinator Festival on 26th July will be worth a visit.
We're supporting Dolgellau in it's application to become a 'Bee Friendly' town. The Bee Friendly (Caru Gwenyn) scheme covers all polinators, not just bees.
Looking forward to next Summer already. We'll be involved with the Meirionnydd Beekeepers' exhibition in Ty Siamas as part of the Gwyl Peillwyr Pollinator Festival on Sunday 26th July. And Paul will be doing a short talk on the Life Cycle of the Honey Bee.

Dolgellau has some special shops. Remade Guitars is under the arches in Eldon Square, opposite Knit One, the wool shop. Both are well worth a visit.
